solution to getting booted from cog golf

Everytime I have gone in a 3, 6 or 9, when we finish the ball game, we get booted. Could never complete a course.
So, we experimented and found that if you only go with 3 toons into the courses, you will not get booted...for now. LOL
They really messed everything up with this last update.
GO WITH THREE>>>DON"T GET BOOTED!!!

I posted this earlier in the following thread. Also just tested another solution. You can go with 4 as long as one of the toons doesnt play the golf part of the game and just stands there. The toons I was with had no clue what I was doing. We have survived 3 rounds of the golf. I stand in the tunnel and wait. I dont go on the grey or green in that part. We finnished all four of us.

EDIT: I went in with Duck a la ronge, Oinka de Vida and Tymora because they went in 3 times and came out immediately 3 times. One of them asked me to go with them. I wanted a group of 3. But went in because I didnt know how to say that in speedchat. I didnt want to get booted again so I decided to try the not playing that round technique and it worked.

ROFL.... I am Duck ala orange-and you are right- I had no idea what you were doing, or more correctly, why you were doing nothing! I wasn't aware of the problem with groups of four. The main reason we really wanted a group of four is that neither Oinka nor Tymora had been in the golf courses before, and although they are good toons, they were unsure of whether I could get them thru there by myself.
Since neither of them had seen cog ball before, and I'm not that great at it, needless to say, we lost the laff every time! It must have been a blast watching us and knowing you couldn't help! But thanks for getting us out alive!!

I just did The Middle 6. I didn't realize what the other three meant when one would sit out at the gof course, now I know. However, even though 1 sat out I still got booted at the end.

Thanks for posting this! I like that with your solution, 4 toons are still available for the cogs.

just to add my 2 cents, I was getting a few stock options today, and trying to jump on the cart at the 3 hole entrance with a couple other toons. Obviously, 2 of the toons were SF's and the 3rd was just needing a big cheese. We would get on the cart and the 2 friends would bail and say "no" , so all would jump off. After about the 3rd try, I figured out that I had either [at some point in my toon carreer] offended one of the 2 toons, or maybe they thought I didnt [or couldnt ] read! I have been following the discussions on the forum as to the problems we are having playing the golf game. As others have done, I have found out if 1 person lays back , the other 3 can finish the golf game and no one gets the boot. Of course, if you are down a few laffs, the players get tooned up, and you dont, but for most of us, that doesnt seem to be much of a problem. It just so happens, that after they went in with 3, 4 of us jumped on the cart and went into the course. None of us were SF's but at the golf game , we would say the "You First" phrase and 1 of us would lay out. That does work well. I would just like to add a special thanks to Lady Purpleberry, Bark Barker, and Wonna Duck for the run. Thanks , my toons name that I used for the run is Crazy Winky. Looking forward to playing with you guys again
