Parental Password?

I submitted the following question and received a response from Toontown and thought I would share it in case others are having the same problem:

On my test account, I was trying to enter a True
Friends code and it says that I need to create a parent password,
however, when I log on to test.toontown.com, log in and select
passwords, it says that I can only set it on play.toontown.com. I did
that and I still get the same problem, can you help me?

Toontown Response:

this fix in an upcoming patch that will be automatically downloaded and
installed when released.

I recognize that reply wording, so that sounds encourging. When i get that response, it's usually fixed within a few weeks.

Just call the customer service number. It is somewhere in the log in page. They said my parent password for test should be the same as for open, but it wasn't. Over the phone, they fixed it for me and enable unlimited TFs. It was very fast and easy over the phone. Emails and livechat didn't help at all.

I got the same message while using the "new" launcher. I logged out, and logged back in on the "old" launcher and had no issues with the parental controls. I'm sure they will fix it in the next update to the "new" launcher. (or you could update your drivers)

As Skip posted, this is a known problem with the new launcher. However, since it has been known for about 4 weeks now, I wish they would fix it already!
