Poor sportsmanship??

The following was forwarded to me by a friend who received a message from someone on this topic:

LZP has been a friend of mine but she is sure defensive about her poor sportsmanship kids
I'm amazed that anyone got out of my posts on the subject that MY kids are bad sports! I specifically stated that MY kids have NEVER alted out, nor will they unless they are stuck and they have to. They HAVE been frozen up and had to leave the game. My point in posting (which you would know if you read my posts thoroughly) is that when they froze up and our other toon in the same golf game did not, it SAID they left the game and it would look to other players as if they had alted. My POINT is that innocent toons are going to be given a bad name because it is ASSUMED that they are being poor sports and alting out, when that is not always the case. Are some toons alting out on purpose? Probably, but I have no idea. I would not know that unless they specifically said so, and no one else would either, no matter what they THINK they know.

I am constantly amazed at the attitudes of ADULTS in this game. Don't you dare label my children as bad sports. They have done NOTHING wrong. Of course I am defensive when "diehard testers" have made it crystal clear, time and again, that they WILL pass around names as bad toons. But I am not only defending my own children, but anyone who has had this problem. Have you read other posts on this forum?? Golf is buggy. People are freezing up. Leaving out the fact that people have a right to alt if they so desire. How about reporting it so it can be fixed. If you want to make sure it doesn't happen, don't go with strangers. Not a lecture; just common sense.

Wow.

I've been lucky so far, only a few crashes and usually I was with someone I knew or alone. Earlier today our cable blipped out for a minute or two when I was with another toon I didn't know. I hope he was able to finish as we were on the last hole.

Test is buggy, weather affects connections sometimes, stuff happens, chill out everyone. Sheesh, I remember back when cash hq came out, we couldn't even finish the battle because of discos. That's why we're all running around, excited at new content, to TEST it and hopefully make it stable.

Have a little patience people, please.

Speaking for myself, I wouldn't take notice of any list people want to pass around and I would hope the majority of other adult users wouldn't either. I believe it is best to decide for yourself whether or not another toon is a possible griefer.

As for these toons who are possibly alting out, with it being test, I generally assume they have disco'd unless they have made it clear they are going to alt-f4 out.

So far I have encountered one bad sportsman, I assumed he was a child from the way he was acting. He was playing badly and seemed to think this was my fault, we were on one of the medium courses and he sent a barage of 'You stinks' and sad faces at me from the second hole to the end. Not the most fun experience I have had, I almost wish he had alted out on me. I never stank him back, just thanked him for his compliments on my aroma.

Since I saw some of the other threads, I too am unable to understand why someone would come to the conclusion that your kids are bad sports because they freeze up.

The only conclusion I can come to is that whoever said that is unable to read. I know you said it was an adult, but some adults can't read.
