Hmm...I think it only took a couple months for me, I don't remember.
Don't worry, Disney will let you know when you're accepted.

For me it took 3 or 4 months.
This is what determines how long it takes pretty much.
1. If they are actually accepting testers (usually indicated by a button or some notice at the login screen)
2. How many people are trying to get a test account.
3. If there is anything new on test that needs to be tested
4. How long it takes them to review your status as a member (Last time I checked you had to have been a open member for so long before they would accept you for test, I know they did that to me.)

Edit: As to your second question, No. Once they E-mail you saying that you've been accepted they won't give your slot up. The acount(sp?) has already been created, and disney won't delete it unless you do something wrong, or ask them to.

I joined TT in April of 2005. I got my test account in June 2005, about a month after I requested it. I only had one account at the time.

I paid for 2 new subscriptions in March and May of 2006. I immediately requested test accounts since law was coming out. I'm still waiting on both of them.

I applied when Cash HQ was being tested from both accounts. I had both test accounts a few days after Cash hit open. Keep in mind they usually accept new testers when new contents being added, but thinking maybe again after something big is release is a good time to apply?

I got my test accounts in Dec '05 and Jan '06, took a couple of weeks both times. I believe it is different for everybody.

I'm pretty certain that once you are accepted your slot will not be given to someone else if you don't log in the same day. Make sure your email provider will accept emails from Disney, some providers will see their emails as spam.

I have been in toontown since 2004
Does that mean it will take a short amount of time to get mine?

I'm not sure that it will make any difference. I have friends who have played longer than me who are still trying to get test accounts.

Ok well let me rephrase what I said in #4, as in no way did I mean the longer you had an open account the quicker you got accepted (though I know it sounded alot like I did) What I meant was that when u get an account, I'm pretty sure you have to have been a member for so long to be accepted. I assure you though, unless someone wants to get the test user-liscence agreement thing from the open server (if they still use the EULA) then in no way can I prove this is correct and shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt.
