ATTENTION TEST Toons: Some of your Toons may be temporarily inaccessible, but don't panic!

We are testing some new Toontown Trial account features and some Toontown Test accounts have been temporarily set to a special Trial account status -- which will only have access to the middle two (2) Toons during these tests.

PLEASE NOTE: The four (4) remaining Toon slots of these accounts will be unaffected and temporarily unavailable during these tests. After a period of time accounts that have been set to the special Trial status will revert to normal and all your Toons will be accessible once more. During this test period all Toons will take turns having their account set to this new Trial status, so don't be surprised if it's your turn!

If your account is in this special Trial two (2) Toon status, you will have:

- Access only to Toontown Central.
- Access only to Toontown Central Toontasks.
- Limited Goofy Speedway access.
- Access to your Estate.
- Limited Access to the Cattlelog (you can only purchase clothing items).

Test accounts that are in this Trial two (2) Toon status will only remain this way for a short period of time, so please jump right in and play thru all aspects of Toontown Central. Also, if your account has been made into a Test Trial account and you have an open middle slot, please create and play a new Toon.

Be sure to report any issues you encounter via our Report a Problem page! The Toon Council thanks you for your assistance!

I jumped right in, created a new toon, took her thru ttc, reported a few bugs.... now she has been stuck in ttc for 2 weeks. I think that Disney's term "a short period of time" and mine are two different things. I think we have had at least 3 "short period of time". But according to this release note, Each morning I get up and check the opening page to see if we have been released from our "temporary" exile. I actually laffed out loud at Disney's response to inquiry as to how much longer we could expect this "test" to go. Surely, thay can't leave us here forever!!! Who would test Bossbot HQ???

Well, I have done my daily whine. (Actually coming much more often now than daily) Today is my free day and I don't know what to do. Sigh...

Some people don't play others games because they don't like their communities. We pay for our open accounts and test stuff for the devs that they don't want to (Seems like it anyways). It's been released to open! Let us have our accounts back fully!

I myself rarely play Test as I want to work my Open Toon and get him to a nice Laff (almost there, up to 117) but I understand why they want their Toon. I couldn't stand being derived of my Open Toon.

So sorry that this tread is being misunderstood.... Big Business, it WAS meant to be light... If you played much on test you would have understood...... i hope. We know that is their test server and they can do whatever they wish.. (that goes for open too, in reality) We still have the right to whine! Besides the whining, this was mean also that there is light at the end of the tunnel.... how long that tunnel is, we don't know...AND it is about being deprived of our friends as much as our toons.

whine all you want to I'm sure there's a lot that will whine with you including me enough is enough with this trial

Big Business this is the only game I play and enjoy so I guess that means we all better lighten up I think we all been pretty good about this so far there is nothing else we can test in ttc being stuck in one spot is getting very boring especially when you have 2 big toons in the middle slot

Wow did that sound harsh. OH MY, since when was whining not allowed?

For what it is worth, *I* don't choose to play another game, this is MY game of choice, if you aren't choosing to play TT test then why read the message boards? We choose to play it, but we can whine about it all we want.

I personally took Nancy's message as she meant it, as a light hearted joke in a situation we have no control over. Yes, I am sure there is a light at the end of the tunnel. When we did a CFO two days ago with a dev, he had pink slips listed for the things he needed to get, so we know Boss HQ is coming, lol. We figure it will be while we are away from the computers and having some family time in a few weeks. Isn't it Murphey's law, something will come out while you have no acess to computers?? LOL.

We miss all our toontown test friends and miss playing with you guys. Hope to be back to playing normal again soon, so Larry and I can max Law and Nancy can max cash!

First off, I do play on the test server. Second, I have also been affected by this. All I'm sayin' is that as testers, we agree that we are playing on a server that exists for Disney's benefit for the purpose of debugging the game and have to accept that disney can keep us in this mode for as long as they need to and don't have to justify it to us. I'd be willing to wager that there's a problem that they're still trying to hash out.

By "Lighten up and play somthing else", I meant that you shouldn't be so worked up about the fact that Disney is using your test account to actually test. I'm suggesting that you should find somthing else to do.

If this is indeed the case, it would be easier if they would tell us what they want us to work on or in. They have certainly done so in the past.

I remember at least one time when a bug was so elusive, we were actually offered an effect of our choice as a reward for finding and detailing the bug so they could re-create and fix it.

There may be nothing they want us to work on specifically. They probably need us to continue to play free trial accounts so they can isolate a bug beneath the surface. Not every problem can be seen at the highest level.

Once again, we all agree, we are at Disney's disposal to do as they wish us to do in test. We don't disagree with this. We don't have an option on this testing, either way play it, or we don't.. so, I guess that is our option. Why is it you are being so harsh to someone who is just voicing thier opinion? We have the right to get worked up over a problem, whether it is fixable or not, that is our right as humans, just as it is your right to not read a thread or respond to a thread if it bothers you. Just seemed you were being quite harsh for something that you don't seem to really care about, and to a person who is one of the nicest people on test and a great tester who always goes the extra mile when we are asked to test something. Maybe *YOU* should lighten up a bit and allow others to express thier frustration over a situation that has gone on for quite a long time. Just like other down times these situations frustrate many of us, so what's the problem with venting and getting it out? Just a point, if this thread bothers you to the point you need to tell someone to lighten up, then maybe you are reading the wrong threads.
