Observation about the VP (based on new screenshots on Open site)

I haven't seen the VP battle personally, so tell me, does the VP start out anywhere near the toon trapped in the cage? I haven't seen him up that far on any of the screenshots you guys have posted, but one of the screenshots on the main site shows him right up next to the cage practically. Maybe the reason why none of us have been able to beat him is because we're pushing him the wrong way? Maybe you need to push him towards the cage instead of towards the platform? Again, forgive me if he DOES start out near the cage, and that's what the screenshot was showing... in such a case, please ignore this message, and have pity on poor, naive Dusty!
