Gag Tree Question

What is the requirements to be able to plant a gag tree ? We are playing a noob toon (22 laff, 3rd level gags) on test. She has the large watering can, and is planting 2-bean flowers. Do we have to wait until the 3-bean flowers ? Or is it driven off the shovel ? Thanks for any help !

You are able to plant a tree from the very beginning. I suspect your problem is that you don't have any level 1/level 2/level 3 gags in your bag when you go over to plant your trees.

You have to plant level 1 gags first, then level 2, and so on.... You need to buy the level 1 gags from the shops and then plant them to grow the trees.

You must have the gag seed in your gag bag and you MUST plant lvl1 gag trees first, and progress by level from there.

Don't feel bad. I never realized that you lost the beans if a flower wasn't planted when trying different flower combinations. It could have taken several thousand jelly beans before that one jumped out at me if it weren't for Little Pearl pointing out the obvious.

I planted 3 flowers before I realized that there was a little box in the bean combination screen that reflected my piggy bank. hee hee It was losing a bean for every flower color I tried. Wow - You really don't get something for nothing, just like RL.
