Level 7 Gags?

So we know we are supposed to get lvl 7 gags at some point right? Has anyone left a dirt patch open to plant one in? Has anyone been able to plant one yet? If so what happened? How about what they will be...I have heard train for trap and ship for drop but I dont know where this information comes from.

I currently have all trap and my tnt tree bloomed tonight. I have a feather tree and one open spot because it occurred to me thay perhaps I need a place to put the level 7 if I ever get it.

Anyone have any info on this?

Level 7 gags

Sound = an Opera Singer that looks like a pig
Trap = A railroad crossing appears and a train runs them all over
Toonup = High Dive, Toon climbs up a ladder
Cake = Wedding Cake
Drop = A Boat of some sort
Squirt = Geyser, as in Old Faithful
Lure = A Sales Presentation (what it sounds like to me)

You can only carry one of these gags. It affects up to four cogs or toons if toonup.

I am trying to figure it out also.

My guesses

1. We need to have a Huge Watering Can
2. We need to have the fourth and final shovel
3. We need to buy the Mickey Fountain for 1000 beans, which is one of the items in your cattlelog that you can buy once your shovel skill is high enough.

My guess is that once you plant the fountain, another popup will appear telling you what to do.

I have absolutely no idea though. But I have been wondering about it myself.

I was not at Toonfest.

All this is PURE conjecture on my part.

I was a toonfest, and what the developer said about level 7 gags was something about needing to have a successful growing garden to get them. They did say that now the max is 9999/9999, but it will go up once we get new gags. They were very vague as to how we get the new gags. I think because they haven't yet made all the decisions about them. They said they were still testing some things with them. They were very vague, just like they are in the release notes, hee hee. But how I felt after I heard what they said was, gardening is going to be what determines the level 7 gag for each toon. They didn't say anything either about not being able to carry all gags on each track that we have on each toon. So I was wondering to those that have completed growing one particular gag. Can you now dig up the lower trees and start planting a new gag track?? Because that is how I felt they intended it to be. I'm not there yet to test it out, should get my trunk tree tomorrow, then fog 3 days later, I think??

I wish you would be able to get the level 7 gags without doing the flowers. Ubers will be left out of the higher gags unless they're willing to take the laff - also, anyone who doesn't particularly care about the laff points and doesn't care to take the time for the flowers on their toon would miss out. I'm hoping you can just do the trees, but I won't hold my breath. I have so many toons I can't possibly take the time to garden on all of them, and I don't care one bit about the laff. Sad if I have to do it anyway to get to level 7.

You can get to the final shovel without getting any laff. If you plant only one type of flower at each level you will have 8 types when you're done. This assumes that crimson's guess is right.

You know, I still feel a bit confused, or maybe misled about how the gag trees work. I did ask the question specifically during the townhall meeting at toonfest about being able to grow all 6 of our gag tracks. I was given the answer-yes-you will be able to. To make sure I understood him correctly I asked next if we can plant all our level 1 gags, let them bloom, DIG THEM UP, and plant the next level gag-and he again said yes. They also went on to say that the way you plant depends on how fast you want the higher gags-which would make since to plant all the levels you have of one track if you wanted to do it that way. So when I went home and tried this and it didnt work I was confused. Its possible that even though I thought I had worded my question clearly it didnt come across that way. My poor husband went home and dug up all his trees and planted all the level 1 gags. He understood by what they told us that this would be the correct way to do it.

I never heard while at toonfest that we would only be able to hold one of the level 7 gags. I guess that information came at different meetings, possibly people who asked it.

I have all the trap gags now bloomed. I agree with the previous poster that we will probably have to progress to the highest level of gardening before we get rewarded with the level 7 gag. But that is a total guess.

That's true, I'm just saying I HOPE flowers won't have anything to do with it. If it can be done without taking laff that's something, but I'm also thinking of the time involved. Just wishful thinking, as I said, and not holding my breath

I went to remove the cupcake tree in order to try and plant the 3rd cake tree (cream slice) It said if i remove the tree i will not be able to successfully plant the rest of the trees? (or something close to that) So i sure hope that your husband didnt waste his time digging everything up!

ok it says exactly : Are you sure you want to remove the cupcake gag tree? If you remove this tree, you wont be able to harvest gags from the higher level trees... Geesh i would contact them about that!

I did contact them. They responded by saying that we have to have all the lower gag trees of the same track for our higher gag trees to bloom. So, what I understood to be the way it worked from asking them at toonfest isnt the way it works.

My husband has all level 1 gags planted still. I just think at this point he is too lazy to dig them all up and start over again. lol. Im sure he will do it the correct way when it goes to open.

Does anyone know if you would still get the gag bonus even though you can't harvest the gag?

harvesting the gag...doesnt that mean grow the gags? so if you dont grow the gag then i guess you dont get the bonus.

I originally planted a feather tree and a juggle ball tree before we knew that you need all in one track. Then I planted all trap and left the 2 TU trees so I could see what happens. A couple of days ago the ball tree finally fruited. I was given no option to pick it and there was no gag bonus in my book. I dug it up and left an open spot for the level 7 gag maybe if thats how it works. I cant imagine that my TNT tree will turn into a train tree. Was thinking last night...8 dirt holes...6 gags...a rumored 7th level gag...maybe someday level 8 gags?

I dont quite understand the said "5 foghorns"?

I have Foghorn tree and have Fog gags hanging on the tree. I left one empty soil dune to see if I can plant a level 7 gag, nothing happened and changed in garden and in the gag book. My watering can is maxed 999 in Huge Watering Can.

Being able to carry five of all the level six gags will definitely change gameplay. It will make everything much easier which isn't always better.
I wonder how many tnt's they will allow us when level sevens come out.

Hmmmm, when I was at the Sneak Peek portion of toonfest, someone asked about carrying more of fogs etc.. and the one developer guy said no. You will still only be able to carry 3. And only 1 of the new gags coming out. They did say also down the road, they are looking into making higher level cogs. Maybe then carrying more of our bigger gags would make more sense??? I am still wondering about digging up our smaller trees once we have gotten to the 6th gag? Has anyone been able to yet?? I really wonder how we will be able to carry all 6 of our gag trees. Even though I'm sure I heard that we would be able to. The way I see it, there is no way to have that many trees in our gardens, even if you are able to dig up smaller trees. We will eventually run out of room. I guess we need to really make a decision on which gag we think would be the most useful to each of us when it comes to open. I don't think a juggle tree will be as helpful as a cake one.
