Has there always been an animation when you pick gags off your tree?

I just picked my first gags today. Has that animation always been there?

Yes when I picked mine 3 or 4 days ago it was there.

But I see no sense in picking the gags. Leave them on the tree and you will always have gag shop gag bonus. If you pick the tree when you have no space for the gags, you've lost them all to oblivion.

Leave the gags on the tree for the bonus anytime you buy them.

I was test picking the gags. What if noone ever picked their gags and when it hit open it caused a Catastrophic Error along with the Blue Screen of Death?

I have four toons in test all with at least level3 gags on their trees. We haven't yet picked them since the first set that the Colonel picked. We have always gotten our bonus from buying them at the gag shop and they have worked great in our cog battles. It even shows the bonus gags in bold numbers on your gag selection chart. So I hardly think there will be a catastrophic error on open due to that. We are here to test for such and the errors have really been minor so far.

Actually, it has been a great introduction of new programming.

I noticed how non-glitchy this feature was compared to previous features.

I have been picking gags daily (minus the long holiday weekend) and using only them on the streets. No problems so far

I haven't picked and then bought in the store yet...there was a report of loosing your bonus when doing that...doesn't make sense to me...LOL
