Candy you really are amazing. Thanks for coming in with us Big suits. Especially after eating snow with us on the first run. The break down of what we went in with is 4 Big Wigs, 2 Legal Eagles, and 2 Spin Doctors. I think we got 8 or 9 toons on the jury. There were 2 many gavels and not enough time to count them. There was the line of 8 cogs plus a cog right in front of the CJ and one across from CJ. This battle really did take a very long time. I did not look at my clock so I can't say for sure how long it was. The only 2 reasons we won is: 1)We were in with a group of very expierenced Toon Town addicts. 2)For the most part we were all secret friends. It made it a little better being SF becuase if you were low you could just say 29 and your friends knew you had 29 lp left. I have always been a firm believer in NO TU in the CJ. However, in this battle if we had not hit each other with evidence we would of never made it. We eventually won the battle but I am sad to report we lost 1 toon just seconds befor the dance. So sorry we lost you Rubba Duckie. Not sure if that is correct spelling for toon name. I did send a report to Disney with all this info and asked them to reconsider the difficulty befor releasing it to open. Here some of the names of the awesome toons that accomplished this insane mission.
Power House Mouse Alexa Prince JC Wackyface Nutmeg Spackleteeth Clearly Confused Rubba Duckie (she almost made it) I am drawing a blank on the other 2 names. They were friends of my friends. Here are a few pics I took in there. |

What did come to my mind was: Is advancing your suit really worth the difficulty level that Disney has given us when we enter the CJ Battle with big suits? After tonights 2 experiences, my only answer is No. My one thought after an hour passed was "I really wish someone would put me out of my misery." The reason we didn't ditch is due to discussing how we would work as a team, who would go where and who would do what. After some discussion we went in. Since I am a stunner, and a very good one at that... I was asked to hit the scale. Being a very tall toon.. and also being asked to do this... I gave it my all. I was completely surrounded by gavels... and was told "This way." by someone who knew what they were talking about. I was in a position where throwing at a distance did not pay off for me. 80% of my evidence missed. After realizing this was not working out for me or the team, I chose to throw evidence in a tightknit area between 2 gavels, my back to the cog infront of the CJ... my eyes constantly on the scale, completely ignoring any evidence thrown by the cogs in the lineup. I could barely see the other cog across from the CJ and missed a few jumps and got hammered by gavels thruout the battle. I can not ditch if there is a full team, no matter how tired I get or how cramped up my fingers get, because I'm too proud to give in the towel unless we're down to 3 or4 ppl and the scale isn't tipped in our favor. I applaud the ppl I went with. There was no running around not knowing what to do. We were organized in who went where and did what. We had no choice but to take time out and toon each other... and our tooning up method was awesome. We stayed in our place 99% of the time... when a stunner would help with the scale or a scaler would help with the stunning. Only carrying I think 22 pieces of evidence was very frustrating. Dodging gavels was insane, because it took time away from gathering evidence and going back to the scale and there was no way to figure out how and where they were going to hit next. I will continue to test out the DA Offices and the CJ because this part of Toontown is extremely important so that we and Disney agree that it's ready for Open. For now, I am not seeing a positive outcome if this releases to Open as is. The other 2 toons I think were: Wabbit Season and Superwig test toon: clearly confused |

Completely Insane
Yeah that battle was completely insane, I kept screaming at my computer, "This isn't Fun!" LOL I knew we were almost done with that battle, I saw that clearly confused was trying to toon me up but I only had 3 laff left and I got hit with some of the cogs evidence, which sent me back to the play ground. Wabbit Season, I think the name was did a great job of keeping me and everyone else tooned up throughout the battle, for the most part I rarely got below 80 laff because of that, but toward the end, I was tired of fighting, and I got stuck under the bunch of gavels and couldnt get turned around, and each time was 20 laff, I am glad you guys all made it. You all Rock. But I agree, just because there were all those high suits, it doesnt mean that disney needs to make it unfun.

That is just nuts
2 hours, what a great group of toons, WOW. This really is not going to work on open, no random is going to battle for two hours. And NOW we can't go with friends, most our friends our close in size, and levels. I really hope you all write to Disney, and I understand why toons don't want to go with us. On test if we could since we have this form of commuication, we need too start mixing up the suit sizes, so we can still test. I can tell you right now, I'm not knowingly going into a two hour, long boring fight.
Cute the sadness picture never noticied that before, I never read what he says when I fight, was shocked the first time, I noticied, when he talked to me, fun twist. Keep that, LOL Last edited by kalan; 04-24-2006 at 11:35 AM. |

Looking to mix small suits with big suits is an idea, but what happens when all the small suits have grown up, you're back to the beginning. Essentially, this battle has to change no doubt about it. |

Yes, there is no way I would bother taking my toons to Big Wig levels if this is what I would have to deal with. Toontown must change this!
I give this group a lot of credit for planning and attempting this twice and I congratulate you all on the win. You are truly devoted Testers and I for one am glad to have the knowlegde of your experiences.

While I am not happy with how difficult the battle is I would never refuse to board with any toons just because they have big suits or small suits.
As soon as I can get 5500 JNs and win a battle my test toon will be a Legal Eagle. I am very surprised that so many of you are saying that you will not board with me because my suit will be too big. I will continue to play they way I always have. If there are 7 toons who want to board I will board with them. |

I just don't want to make the effort of Big Wig levels for my own toons if the cost is working hard for those 14,400 JN and then having to do a two hour battle. I can think of far better uses for my time. If they adjust the highest difficulty level to a lesser degree, then I would reconsider.

Wow!
It looks like Disney is making the road from here to Bossbot, the road which will be least traveled. It will be scarce, the toon who reaches into the Bossbot battle pinnacle of development. The BW is going to be a very lonely person at best, and will only find his path to the pinnacle by working with the low suits much of the way. It really appears that LE and BW must go with smaller suits, singularly, to make their trek to max status.
If Bossbot is the pinnacle of this game, we can wholly expect it to be a long uphill grade. I think that is what Disney has had in mind all along and probably will turn a deaf ear to our pleas for leniency. I think I will keep a small suit ready at any time to assist for that matter. I applaud the group for all their effort, patience and time invested! Great victory!
We realize that Disney is trying to make us work as a team, higher suits helping low suits, toons of the world unite, etc. But as Peaches pointed out what happens when all suits grow, when all your friends have LE or BW suits? Will it be relatively easy to find smaller suits to balance the elevator in a busy district? Granted, I have few toons that I can help my friends with, so do they. Suits will grow eventually, unless we decide to keep one toon Bottom Feeder lv1 and alt-f4 at the end of the battle so we can continue to use this toon to balance the elevator. How many people can have 2 hours of uninterrupted game play (for the great and useful 'summon a cog' reward too )? How many people have patience to watch the scales oh so very slowly tipping in toons' favor?EDIT: I just sent my comments to Disney again and hope everyone else does too. It's April 24th, only few days left before Law release on open if they keep the scheduled time. Last edited by MissChievous; 04-24-2006 at 02:17 PM. |

How fair is it, when everyone finds out that a Big Wig will cause more gavels, an extra cog in what is already a drawn out battle, to that person and he/she trying to find ppl to fight the CJ with? When I was asked to fight the CJ... I had no idea of suit levels. When entering the CJ lobby... my only thought was "I'm gonna end up eating snow" because of the knowledge of a more difficult battle. After last night... I doubt I can handle another 2 hour battle with Big Wigs and Legal Eagles. Even tho we made it, but lost one person... the time and effort is not worth (in my opinion) advancing to a big suit in Law. I sent Disney an email explaining everything about the battle and my opinion was it won't go over well if they choose to leave it at this level of difficulty. Are we going to shun randoms and only go with sf's where we can communicate with? How well do we know that if the battle is now over an hour, the scale tipped in our favor... ppl won't alt out? Everyone in that battle last night was a sf of a sf of a sf and had the ability to communicate which is probably why we did what we did. test toon: clearly confused ps: my fingers and hand is still feeling last nights battle |

I also sent comments to Disney. My suggestion is if they want to keep it that hard they should put a timer. Say set it at 20 to 30 minutes and after the time is up which ever side of scale is heavier wins. Instead of it needing to be all the way down. I could deal with the difficulty and the gavels if we had a time limit instead of not knowing how many hours you may be in there.
