Virus in TT

I restarted my comp because it was running slow. Now I can not log in to TT I thought something was up so I uninstall TT and when I tried to reinstall it my virus scans went nuts saying it has a Trojan virus in it. It will not let me down load TT and the virus is not spreading on my comp. I did several virus scans and came up with nothing other then that one file. Anyone know what is going on?

Hey there, I'm having the same problem as well. Sorry to say I don't know much yet either =/
I started a board too though so hopefully we'll find a solution soon.

Virus in toontown??? you want to see what we have so far...

Edit: whoops, it looks like someone did find a solution. looks like it's the anti-virus programs.

Smile My solution

As of this writing, AVG is the ONLY virus scanner reports TTlauncher.exe as a virus. This is a false positive.

I have posted my findings in the computer technical support forum. Please refer to the link below for my workaround:-

p.s You really don't want to leave your computer unprotected ! Uninstall the AVG is probably not a very good idea.
