I did a Front 3 the other day and went into the "grey". I have heard others talk about this, but it is really freaky when you experience it. Good thing I had a SF with me, as she had to talk me through it. When we went to the next "floor" problem resolved. Here's the pictures.

OMG, yes, I had this a while ago. I was with randoms and I had to follow them everywhere. Apparently I could go through the maze walls

How bizarre, this also happened to me today, thankfully my son was also playing with me, so I could look at his screen from across the room and try and navigate myself towards the cogs. It also resolved for me after that floor.

Have to say it was pretty strange, and the other two toons with us had no idea what was going on or why I kept getting muddled and going the wrong way! I use the phrase 'sorry I'm busy fighting cogs' when this happens, but not sure if people understand what I'm talking about lol!

Hissy was great in leading me through. I couldn't do the cogball puzzle as it wouldn't let me in the game. I just stood there during whack a mole. Then, I followed them around whining that I couldn't see anything. If I had been with non-SFs I would have had to alt out.

It happens relatively frequently on the Middle 6's and Back 9's as well. When you get into the Golf Kart after the second set of cogs you teleport into the "grey" - it kind of looks like you're in a grey square room.

If you're with non-sf's (or sf's), the phrase of "I'm stuck" signals everyone that it's happened. The response from the other toons stomping the moles is usually "OK" or "Wait a Minute" or "No Problem", or often I've whispered "Stay" and/or "Wait a Minute" to a toon who was stuck so he or she didn't alt out. The stuck toon can see the other toons and float around during the mole stomping and then follow them through the maze while in the grey. When the maze times out, he or she will be teleported out of the grey with a 20-point laff loss

While facing the door you came through to get into the mole-stomping area, you can go through the hedges on the left side of the door and 'glitch' or go around the maze. You run through a grey area around the maze in a manner similar to being stuck. If all the toons are glitching, the timer won't start, so if you're stuck and the other toons are glitching, say "Go through the door" to direct them.

Glitching can also cause the toon who's glitching to be stuck in the grey and unable to enter into the cog golf game. I've also seen a toon stuck in the grey from glitching to be unable to go through the doors to the next set of cogs after the golf game. If that should happen, any of the toons in the group can go back to the beginning of the maze to start the timer to free the toon. You can run it backwards, then go back through it normally. If the alloted time expires, you will not be teleported anywhere as you typically are, and you have to find your way through the maze to the end. I've found that toons glitching the maze aren't always aware that starting the timer to let it run out will free them of the 'grey'. I'll generally run the maze to avoid getting stuck, plus it appears to be quicker than glitching at times.
