Question Is anyone else going to the "VP Close Stunning Training offered by the CCG"

Was just wondering if any of you are going to sign up for this training run? I signed up, but now am getting nervous! Is the ATTA still contemplating having a run like this? If they are I think I would rather go with friends. I don't mind them stinking me!

Oh don't get nervous! My mom will be attending ... only her 3rd run ever! I have gone to these over and over...mainly because I am slow to learn. The greatest reward I ever got from these training runs...was CONFIDENCE!

The teamwork involved is typically awesome!

I finally graduated (thank you Murky) to the point that now I attend as a HEALER!

Some day I hope to be good enough to teach....hehe!

Come on...its fun!

You shouldn't be nervous. A training run with the CCG is like playing friends you simply haven't met before. I am planning on attending this Saturdays run.

I attend as many of these runs as I can, they are a lot of fun and from a teaching stand point they are incredibly rewarding. I have been MIA quite a bit recently but these training runs always encourage me to come back.

I don't know if anyone else in the group is confident enough in their abilities to teach stunning, but I think a successful training run would need 2 teachers, one in front and another behind.

Wow! Thanks for everyone's support and encouragement. Yes, I will go! Now that I know a couple of other toons that helps. And, hey! I ran with the CCG forever, just sorta been MIA myself for a while. So, maybe some other toons I recognize will be there also!

No, it's not my first VP run, I am maxed in both VP and CFO but it IS my first training run. So, off I go to try to learn to close stun. Who knows? Maybe one day I can impress the ATTA and CCG with my newly-learned abilities!
You ALL rock!

I just found your thread Jenny. I'm nervous too as usual. I signed up too. Do you think they care if I'm only a Telemarketer 4? I'm not maxed like most of you. I don't know which is worse... being embarrassed in front of strangers.. or friends. I keep telling myself I've got to learn somewhere. But, is going to close stunning training too soon for me? Should I get more practice in first? I'm trying to do as many vp's as I can before Saturday.

For any CCG event your suite makes no difference.

Anyone is welcome to CCG events.

I think Rattlebones said it all, Vicky! I am hoping to be in the Tooniverse more tomorrow so maybe we can do some VPs and practice a bit before Saturday!

Training runs is definitely something I can see ATTA taking on...and soon! I believe it should be something that is addressed by the council when it finally convenes.

Believe me, I have a list the length of my ARM! LoL

Hey Granny Ginger Gigglegroven-
Didn't I see you in the CCG-CJ a few days back...? I like your name...lol.

I am defenintly going to the CCG-VP training run, I've been to some in the past. Just remember to allow a good hour for the run, and to come at least 15 minutes early. Check TTC the morning of the event, waiting for your "secret district" PM.

I'll be a Healer for the Stinker team, just cause, well, haven't been on a good stick run in a while.

The is no reason to worry about embarrassment on these runs. They are for learning, improving your skills and most of all, having fun! You will be in very good hands and will be able to relax and concentrate on mastering what you are there to learn without having to worry about your laff or goofing up. These runs are some of the most fun and supportive events I have ever attended. And they have and continue to help me immensely.

And do you want to talk about embarrassed? I went on the CFO training runs until I was a robber baron somewhere in the 30's! Now that to me is more embarrassing than signing up a lower suit. But I was welcomed nonetheless and always had a blast. And I DID learn something each and every time I attended. By all means go, relax and have fun!
