ATTA/KTTA events

ATTA folks have been talking about a joint event -- ATTA and KOATTA.

Should we do a Boss run together this weekend?
If yes, suggest a day/time
If no, suggest an alternate activity

Some of us ATTA members have kids who are not on the forums, but will come to events too.

I know my son would LOVE to join in, poor darling has been trying so hard in VP. He's not in the group yet (thinking about letting him join), but I would monitor what he does, so he doesn't mess you guys up... too much... Let me know if you're planning a VP too, he's only in The Brghhh so far, no cashbot suit yet.

I go to work at 1pm (Pacific time) Saturday. So I'm available to help Saturday morning or any time Sunday.

I don't allow the boys on without Victor or myself here, just so we can monitor them....but in a pinch I think they could be on Saturday evening after 5pm (pacific). They just couldn't do that regularily.

That sounds great, my son who's 5, would love it too. We both play the same toon. He's great with gags. I'm trying to teach him to be a good team player and not to just kill the cog because you have the gags, but that everyone gets to use their gags too.

We have our own little tt club here at home (which drives dad crazy - he hates to hear us talk tt) I'm going to work on him too - maybe have dad make a monkey toon lol.

This sounds like fun! My idea is to have a Dare challenge. We would set the location (VP, DDL, Golfing, whatever) and the kids to offer a challenge (a.k.a. dare) to adult teams while the adults offer a challenge to the kids teams. Multiple teams of each group can run.

Then, the one who completes the dare first gets bragging rights.

Example:
- kids dare to adults: VP with 2 gag tracks only, no unites and no level 7
- adults dare to kids: VP with 1-4 level gags only, SOS allowed
Start at playground, return to playground. First back wins.

How's this for the plan:

* We need 2 volunteers for Dare Leaders for both groups. The four people will collectively decide on the location (PM ability needed)

* Locations for the leaders to pick from:
- Neighborhood (choice of any)
- Minigolf
- Headquarters (choice of any)


* Leaders will then put together challenge. Both challenges will be in same location but not necessarily the same activity (playground trolly or streets and buildings can be components of a Neighborhood challenge). Challenges will be announced on the morning of the event (no peeking!)

* Teams of 4 toons will compete. Teams will be prearranged. There will be a thread for pulling together teams. Any number of teams from each group can play.

* All participants will meet in an assigned location and, when all are gathered the race will begin. Each team will complete their challenge as quickly as possible, then return to the starting point. First team back wins.

* KTTA teams will complete the challenge designed by ATTA Challenge Leaders; ATTA teams will complete the challenge designed by the KTTA Challenge Leaders.

Nice ideas! Sounds challenging, but hey I love a great challenge! I am up for it!
