Playing with mom

My mom also plays - I figure my SF's think I'm a kid when I say "Meet my mom" when she is on playing with me. When I'm on with her playing my darling husband doesn't complain - he won't cross his mother-in-law if she needs help on toontown!!

(but, my kids probably feel that was about me!)

LOL! The other day another ATTA member was asking me what I was up to...I told them I was going to help my dad in the mint. There was a long pause and I'm sure they did a double take on that and thought that I let it slip that I was a kid! I'm an adult (trust me) but don't always act like one! lol

Help! I'm trapped in an adults body!

My daughter has the NERVE to tell me that she has made arrangements to meet a friend on TT. One of her school friends plays, and they met up to make toon-friends.

I have been campaigning against TT with all my kids so I would not have to compete with them for ToonTime. And now this! What will happen to the peace in the household now? I have sent the kids off to Webkinz and other places for their games. I have nearly convinced them that TT is no fun without a big toon (and theirs are all little). And ... no they can't play my toon because I have adult friends.

Help! Its going to be a looong summer.

I feel your pain Margaret, it happened to me. A hint... (sung to the tune of The Brady Bunch -- use your imagination!)
Here's the story of a lovely lady who was bringing up a very lovely girl. She had TT friends like her mother, one of them from school.
Here's the story of how it happened when they both wanted to plaaaaay Toon Town. Oh! It cost them too much money, for they had to get a second account!
The Mildew Bunch, the Mildew Bunch. That's how we caaaaame to haaaaave two accounts!
Just break down and do it! Summer will be much happier!
Love ya!

My husband decided that because I am obviously addicted to TT that he needed to DARE me to stop playing for a whole week...

Naturally, I couldn't think of a good reason to not play for a whole week. Especially since we have no vacations coming up or anything major in life going on that I can't be online for any reasons. So I told him NO WAY! However, when I told him I would consider it if he would give up his message boards and Audi websites for a week.. Needless to say he declined. Ha!

Sometimes I do feel like throwing a pie at him!

Margaret- Yes, the same thing happened here. We went from 1 account paid monthly, to 2 accounts paid monthly, to 1 account paid for a year and the other 1/2 year, to 2 yearly accounts and 1 6 month account for the daughter to play again... since her mother and father took over the other accounts

Bubbles- What I said to Margaret applies to you as well. Kenney thought I played too much and thought it was absolutely foolish of me to play TT so I asked him to make a toon to play when he played with our daughter( Yes, I baited him in). Well, as most of you know, he plays with me nightly now, and yes we have 3 accounts for family peace and harmony.

We also have 3 accounts. My two sons and myself. Wife is not getting into TT (but I think this is good for her because she is also in school) yet.

Margaret, to solve the problem, you need a small computer network to share a single internet connection so you guys can play at the same time. I have a home network of 6 computers so we don't fight. If I get 2 more computers, I can have a boss run party in my house (no way, just kidding).

I don't play TT with my kids very often. They have their own TT friends. But I will help them if they ask me with the condition that they will behave during game time (well, you guess....)

I tried that with my dh but it hasn't worked yet. I'm thinking of giving Simba's leash to him one night and see how he does. Sometimes he'll glance over at the screen and ask the most ridiculous question and I think he's being sarcastic (but he's not). Yes dear, I'm fighting the cogs, not the other toons...Then he just goes back to doing whatever it was he was doing.

Haha, my spouse acts like a cog one day and the next he's my doodle. How one 32 year old can act like such a child is beyond me. He was such Big cheese today. I was online for about an hour during my daughters nap and he wants me to help him beat a part on his game. I told him in an hour and he threw a fit until the hour was up. I helped him about five minutes (he's playing Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360 and it is a cinch) then he kept playing his game and then, my daughter woke up so I went downstairs and played Toontown with her on my lap for another 30 minutes.
