UK and "Down Under" members - question

We seem to have so many members (or is it just my SF list that is UK/Aussie heavy?) from these two areas that sometimes miss out on events because of the timing...I was wondering, would you all be interested in planning events that would be more in line with your time zones?

And if so, would any of you be interested in planning said events? Just a thought I'd throw out there.

I am based in the UK and would like to be more active in this group. But I must be walking around this forum with my eyes closed as I seem to be missing all the events as I haven't noticed any.

That is exactly why we are bringing this up, that way we can get this going for all of you.

Main reason why we havent had any events is because a few of us were MIA for a while here. I myself was gone for about 3 months due to family stuff. Most of us are back and are ready to work hard and get this ball rolling again.

I was telling Cherie last night while we were hanging out. That I am going to start hosting Fiesta Fishing again on Wednesdays (Hopefully Angela will be able to again as well!!! )
We are also going to do some racing and golfing events. VERY soon this is going to happen. We will keep you all posted.

A big part of the waiting is trying to find people to plan events. I try not to plan events I can't attend. So, since I can't be on TT ALL the time (no matter how much I would like to be) I've been rounding up the usual suspects in hopes they can help me out.

So far I have someone for Building Busters, Fishing, Racing, and Golfing. I'm still looking for people to help with DA, Mints, and Factories.

Even if all you can plan/attend is ONE time/event, that would be GREAT. Cause that's what starts the ball rolling!!!

Hi everyone,

I am also UK based, and although I hop on and off during the day, I cannot be too comitted - have two little people at home with me!!

I would be happy to run buildings/factories once or twice a week as long as its after 8pm GMT so let me know if this is of any use to anyone.

Sorry I cannot commit to more than this, but will also happily help anyone when on TT!

Hi Cherie,

I don't know how many players are Aussie based like me, I only have 1 on my Sf list, but I know she has other SF from Aussie too LOL. Anyway, Friday - Saturday US time works best for me as I can play during the day (that will be sat-sun for me).

I just figured out I have a lot of work commitment at the moment, and cannot play too much TT (Darn it!). But I always visit TTC forum (during lunch break at work LOL).

Hi. I feel badly that our friends across the pond can't join many of the events. What are convenient times for you to play?

I am in the UK and the times I tend to play are from 7pm until usually around 10pm ish during the week. Weekends you can't get me off TT :-)

Down under hereat the City of Lights (GMT+1). So, uhmmm, basically am always on TT....Monday-Friday(19h30-till my eyes drop(max is 3a.m.))And on Saturday-Sunday, am always on anytime in between errands(and even after a late Saturday night out with friends I still log on after that). I'm also from the UK. I've been working since 7th January but only part-time and during school hours so my daytime playing is a bit unpredictable unless you know roughly English school holiday times. But I notice a lot of UK players play a lot in the evenings anyway during the week. I think because so many of us have unpredictable play times, it can be difficult to plan or organise stuff.

I haven't posted in the ATTA forum for ages so I thought I'd post here to let you guys know I'm still alive!
