I suppose this was a handy time to be a computer-oriented kind of guy. I went ahead and built a second computer so we now have two desks and two computers next to each other. Plus the laptop makes three

Now, we just fight for the comfy desk chair

I am now entering my third year in Toontown and I must admit that, like everybody else here, I am extremely addicted. I have played this game whenever I really have free time and I have even had to go cold coggy for a couple of months to stave off the addiction. I am one of the few guys out there who is more addicted than his wife however, she will play the game frequently and she does have a nearly maxxed toon. I think this group is a great idea and I will say hi to each of the fellow group memebrs as I recognize you out in the playgrounds. I am currently building up my BB HQ suit on Sir Nutty Googlefink but usually run as King Funnynoodle with my wife as her toon is Queen Funnynoodle.

We have an 11yo son who plays occasionally and yes, he is the culprit in getting me addicted to Toontown (bless his heart). I wish I knew why it is that I love this game so much but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that it is generally safe, very funny, not threatening in nature (like WOW and other MMORPGs) and it is a great place to build friendships with others that share a common interest.

Good luck and have fun out there in Toontown! It's a gag!

Well, I played this game in beta and when it was first released but left shortly after the speedway was done.

To have something to play when I want, I reactivated my account and have ALOT of catching up to do.

I am at 107 laff and still need to work on all the HQs. I have alot of fishing done, but the racing, golf, and gardening is new to me.

I look forward to making some friends to run HQs together...

little trixie huckleboing--one thing i have discovered (that your husband probably won't want to know) is that it is very easy to fold laundry WHILE playing toontown. especially in buildings or the cog battle parts of the boss runs--pick your gag then fold an article of clothing while the gags are thrown. this has actually gotten me some extra time playing while keeping my wife from chasing me off the computer more than once.

like many others my kids heard about the game and i got addicted through helping them. cuckoo electrohopper is actually my son's toon. mine is Doctor Rhubarb, 109 laff red rabbit, trapless, working on finishing my gags and boss battles, with intermittent fishing, gardening etc.

i actually tried to get my kids to suggest to my wife that we get a second account so i could transfer my toon to it to be able to help them by playing together---she saw right through that one... oh well.

look forward to seeing you on toontown

Matt

I am adult, been playing Toontown over a year. Started by signing up my son who was then 4 years old and getting into computer games. After rescuing him all the time, getting more jellybeans for him to spend in the catalog, helping him complete toon tasks because he couldn't read, I became addicted and took over his monkey he'd created, Silly Spotty (short, fat monkey). I built him up to 107 and maxed my gags, without trap. Then I got bored with him, as I wasn't into boss runs because of how long it took to get on the elevators to fight, racing gives me a headache after a while, and I was at a standstill. Only tasks given were to defeat cogs and couldn't build up my laugh points anymore.
So then I created Lady Twinkletoes (pink cat, tall and skinny opposite of Silly Spotty), and I am at 104 with her, and just maxed all my gags without drop. With her I have made several good friend toons who I am not SF with, but who I can count on to play fair and be helpful, nice to others. With them I finally have become addicted to the VP run, but still sensing the frustrations with it when they aren't on line and I'm ready to go.

Hee hee, my husband asks periodically, are you close to being done yet? And almost lost it one day when I told him I made a black cat on halloween! Hee hee! That is Kitten Kaboodle, my halloween black cat. She doesn't get played much, but sometimes it's fun to be a smaller laugh point toon again, and do simpler tasks.

Enough rambling, add me to the roster!

I lost my post, rats. I will post more about myself again later, Add me to the roster! I am addicted, and really enjoy playing!

I am an adult!
Sign me up! I am a Nana that signed up a Granddaughter..who, with her Dad..married into our family...I love her! She told me about Toontown...and, I signed up for all of my Grandchildren to play...AND, I GOT HOOKED!!! I play it many days...all day....I try to get my housework done..but, then, have to get back to it! lol.....
Hubbies will settle down. My dh tries to act like he is listening when I go into a story about Toontown. I told him at the beginning , a couple of years ago now....that I was going to find out what the glitch was in Cashbot HQ. And, that when I actually wrote to Toontown...{had not found this wonderful sit yet}..they told me it was not a legal way to play. He dreamed that the Toontown police came to our door and asked where Lady Daffodil Sparklemuffin was. Anyway, it was hilarious.
I really enjoy this game and, am so glad to have found Adults that are as addicted as I am! Hope all of you are having a good day!
Anna

Husband / father yes. Sadly, my wife is left floundering as a Toontown widow. She has a toon, but every time she tries to play, she falls asleep. Oh well, having an infant will do that to you. Of course, that leaves me up until 1 or 2 in the morning (even though I have to get up for work at 6). TT has given me some bonding time with my 6-yo son, though, and I'm grateful for that.

Bring on the cogs!
