..... I got done too yesterday (lol).
My hubby is working away this week and he tried to phone me last night for some reason our phone line wasn't working properly. When he did get in touch he told me off for turning my mobile phone off and said that I am not allowed to play TT anymore because it is ruling my life (  ) - no not ruling life just addicted lol.Anyway guess what tough!!! I am going to continue to play because he goes to play football/watch football/goes to the pub with his mates etc.... SO I HAVE "ME" TIME AND THATS WITH TT AND MY TT FRIENDS  MEN!!!!!!! There we go my rant for the day. Shell

Well, the way I see it...I think my hubby realizes if I wasn't playing TT all the time I would be nagging on him all the time to get things done around the house, painting, flooring, carpeting, etc. etc. If I am at the computer playing, the house doesn't drive me crazy so he leaves me alone....Ha!
I just make sure that the house is semi-cleaned, laundry done, children taken care of and it's all TT........ My hubby doesn't want me staring at him all the time anyway! Cindy

Girls you make me feel better, thank you. My husband is not working right now, so he sees all the times I get on here. When he starts talking to me, I'm going to say if I want to stay up to 2am playing, it's only hurting me. And It's really not hurting me, that I am enjoying it. I play for short times on and off during the day when I can, but it's after the kids go to bed that I like to stay on here longer.
I am really starting to like you all!! I work 12 hr night shifts tonight and tomorrow night, and am on call friday night. But I hope to get back on this weekend, and run into you all! Luckily I can chat on this board from work, but not play the game.

Boy I have read through this chain and it's exactly like this at my house!!! My husband hates that I play, but I'm not hurting anybody. I keep the house straight, laundry done, kids taken care of........and when I stay up late and play he gets so agrivated.....like someone else said, it's not hurting them, why should they care!!!! He has his interests and I have mine -- mine is toontown and I'm extremely addicted!! If I'm on when he gets home from work he get an instant attitude with me. Anyway I could go on and on but just wanted to say "Hi" and "Nice to meet you all". Hope to see you around toontown!!

This is soo awesome. We have more things in common than we actually think!!!
Our hubbys dont understand what makes us happy darn it!!! Thats why we have eacth other to vent on!!! YAY ladies!!!

You are right! I know this isn't all funny, but it relaxed me so much to just share it with you all. How about "My hubby hates TT", or "No, I can't just pause it!," or "My husband or TT?"
Funny, I'm at work giggling to myself about it. I need to bookmark another page on my home computer for sure, if he stumbled across all of this, I'd be in hot water for sure!

Hey, I just wanted to say that while for some of us this could be a real bone of contention, we all need to put a little bit of humor with it. I know it helps me handle things better when I can laugh at difficult situations.

I was reading through the posts and was laugjing b/c I have done (at least once) many of the things you guys talked about. LOL!!!
My husband and I are both addicted... we have two accounts and no kids.  I am a full-time college student, but I would rather play TT than go to class. It's hard to drag myself away. I mst admit that sometimes, actually, quite often I dream about TT. I know it sounds crazy, but I think it's beacuse it is the last thing I do before bed? Has this happened to anyone else, or am I totally crazy! Pleased to meet all of you!

No, if I play up until bed time, I think I fall asleep thinking about it, and dream about it too! That makes me laugh, keep it coming! A little laughter has made me feel feel good!

I think many of us who have spouses that don't "get" the game, have to try to find some happy medium. It's hard though when after a really tiring day all you want to do it play....
