This story was inspired by a dream I had. This is the prolouge and the first chapter of my story. I am inviting people to be characters in my story. You just need to tell me your top gags, max laff points, species, color, nickname, and gender. I'll need a lot of Toons for the upcoming chapter-chapter three, so SIGN UP NOW! So now, here is the first part of my story! Sorry if these chapters are a little short, but I couldn't reveal that much. I do have a great pun in chapter 2, so sign up to be in the story, and wait for chapter 2! Also, I can’t explain the name of my story to you. That’ll become all clear in chapter 2 or 3. The only hint I can give is the following two words: Big Wig.
The Great Invasion

Prolouge

My name is Prof. Kippy MacZilla. I am, or was, on a quest to find the Resistance HQ. This story chronicles my adventures that happened after I found the HQ.

Chapter 1: Exploring HQ

I walked through the secret tunnel and out of Acorn Acres. I gave the Salute – “Toons of the world unite!” I was then led into a secret playground-like area in The Brrrgh. This was it! The secret Resistance Headquarters! Lil’ Oldman, Professor Flake, and Whispering Willow had all teamed up to make a huge shiny red building on the very edge of the Headquarters. Everything that the Resistance did is in that building. I was just too tired to explore, so I sat on a bench and looked around. There was the shiny red Resistance Building. All around, I saw tunnels, one to every playground in Toontown. There was a HUGE pile of snow right in the middle. Snow fell gently and slowly. I looked behind me and saw a nearby store called “Questions Asked and Answered.” I’ll probably be able to find out my way around here if I get my questions answered over there… I thought.

Chapter 2: The Invasion Begins

After taking a quick nap, I walked right into Questions Asked & Answered. A tall blue bear was already asking the clerk some questions, so I waited until she was done.
Just to learn about her and if she could help me out, I asked the bear who had just finished asking, “Hello, what is your name? Mine’s Prof. Kippy MacZilla. You can call me by my full name, but I prefer MacZilla.
She replied, “Oh. I’m Princess Raven Bananatoon. I prefer Birdie. Well, so long! Actually, I think I’ll wait for you so we can learn more about each other.”
Then, I walked over to the clerk desk.
The clerk meowed, “Hi, I’m Ida No. Have any questions?
“Yes, actually,” I barked. “Where can I find Whispering Willow? I know she’s somewhere around here.”
Ida answered, “Willow’s in the Resistance Building. She’s there for anyone to talk to, but it would be rude to interrupt, and Willow has a pretty full schedule for today. Therefore, I don’t think you’ll be able to contact her in any way today. Is your question answered?”
“Yes, Ida,” I responded. “Thank you.”
I turned around and left Questions Asked & Answered.
“WAIT, MACZILLA!!!” Birdie yelled, running up to me.
“Sorry about that, Birdie. I’m really tired. I had to go on a long journey to get to Resistance HQ.
“Yeah?” Birdie growled. “Well, why don’t you go sit on a bench and take a nap?
“I already did that…” I said.
“Well then, TAKE ANOTHER, LONGER NAP!” She exclaimed.
“Okay, okay…” I mumbled.
Finally, I got some rest.

When I woke up, It was like, midnight or something. Birdie was asleep AND ON TOP OF ME!!! “AAAAH!!! BIRDIE, GET OFF OF ME!!!” I yelled.
“Whoa, whoa, okay! Don’t wake up the whole HQ!” Birdie growled.
Then, I saw a fat Big Wig in blue and white-striped pajamas. Wait! There was one of them coming out of every entrance to HQ! They were unnoticed, so I didn’t make a big deal about them.
“IT’S AN INVASION! QUICK! GET TO THE RESISTANCE BUILDING!”

Chapter 3: The First Battle

“IT’S AN INVASION! QUICK! GET TO THE RESISTANCE BUILDING!” An announcer Toon said through a megaphone.
Toons were screaming. There was chaos. We all rushed to the resistance building.
“Birdie, come with me!” I urged.
“Okay, MacZilla!” Birdie replied.
When we got in the Resistance Building, the announcer Toon said to us, “We need some of the not-as-strong Toons to hold them off! Some have already made their way in! Now get out there and FIGHT!”
So we got out there and joined a hot pink mouse and an aqua duck named Miss Zany Thunderhopper.
Zany squeaked, “Hi, Toons! Our job is to-”
“We know already. And Zany, I’m MacZilla, and this is Birdie.”
“Okay, MacZilla! Wait… How do you know my name?”
“Well, you know…” I said with a droop in my voice, “I’ve, uh, seen you around.” Hope she doesn’t find out that I’ve been eavesdropping…I thought.
“Hi, I’m Lemondoodle.” The mouse squeaked.
“Hi, Lemondoodle,” Birdie growled.
“Whoops! Here they come! Start using those gags NOW!” I said while throwing a cream pie.
“Okay!” They all said simultaneously. Birdie used a 1-ton weight. Lemondoodle used a big magnet that missed. Zany used a 1-ton weight of her own.
“We’ll need a lot more then a Toontanic to beat these guys, although it we had a Toontanic it would me nice…” I said.
“WAIT! I HAVE A TOONTANIC!” Zany quacked.
Then it was the Cogs’ turn.
They all ganged up on Birdie, and she was almost saddened.
Then, I used some lipstick while she used a bugle.
Zany used a Toontanic, and Lemondoodle used a cream pie.
That was enough to defeat the first four, but there were still a lot more to come.
Then, the new round of Cogs started pummeling down on us with their attacks. I was saddened from just a Finger Wag!
Then, Birdie got hit by a burst of sadness. It was enough to get her Laff Points to 0, and it did.
Their attacks easily defeated Lemondoodle.
And finally, our strongest force, Zany, was hit and in seconds, her face fell. Every last Toon in our small Toon Force was sad. We had to retreat and let the Big Wiggish Cogs storm the Resistance Building.
We went as fast as we could to the announcer Toon. (And because we were all sad, as fast as we could was pretty slow.
Ew, I’m surrounded by girls… I finally noticed.
(The Big Wiggish cogs were not girls. The Toons [except MacZilla] were.)
