Rewind: The Showdown

Alright, it has been awhile since I finished the last story in this series, so I think I'll fill people in on what this is all about.

Basically, the two series (Declassified and Rewind) follow an alternate story to Toontown from the prospective of numerous characters.

Ultimately however, the fate of Toontown seems to lie in the destiny of Z.Z. Dandyflinger, one of our main characters.

So I wrote this story, which then turned into a series and then I made another series which became very promising.

However, I left temporarily from the site and I soon quickly forgot the storyline and plot that I was intending to carry out.

So now I am back, and determined to finish this series despite the fact it might be not the original way I intended.

So for those who have not read my stories that lead up to this one, I'll provide some links for you so you can read them.

Now this is the third and final book of the rewind series. So being the final book, I'll try my best to make it as excellent as possible.

So allow me to catch up with the storyline and plot I was planning by waiting for the first chapter.

Prologue

"Flippy must really be stressed, he's been pacing around for an hour now." Z.Z. whispered to Chipper. Both of them were sitting in chairs in Flippy's office where the two of him had been called to a meeting, but the only thing Flippy had done since they got there was constantly pace around. Starting to get really bored of just sitting in a chair, Chipper gave a brief yet somewhat loud "Ahem!". Flippy stopped pacing looked around and saw that Z.Z. and Chipper had been waiting in the chairs quite bored for the past hour. "Oh, sorry guys. I'm just really....concerned right now." The blue dog finally sat down. He told them how he dropped the box by accident in the Cog HQ and still kept trying to keep the box's contents a secret but at the same time making it seem important. When Flippy finished, Chipper and Z.Z. finally grasped the severity of the situation and ran down to the TIA facility. They were really going to have to do some work now.

Meanwhile in that Cog Headquarters, a cog was about to be made that would change Toontown forever...

Chapter One

A cog suddenly opened his eyes to find himself immersed in a dark and gloomy place. After looking around, he realized that there were three.... what were they? There were three robot looking things staring back at him. He rubbed his eyes to see if he was dreaming. That's when he felt cold metal on his eyes as he rubbed them. Then the cog looked at his hands and discovered that they were big and clumsy and made of metal. Then looking at the three cogs, he realized that their hands looked almost exactly his own. That's when one of the three robot looking things rolled his eyes and said, "Charlie, I think you need to do a better job on these new cog's brains. This one is acting like he's never even seen us before or knows what we are." "It wasn't my fault!" Another one of the robots said snapped back at the first, "You could have given me more materials to work with!" "Oh Chuck, you're always complaining all the time!" the third robot said. The three immediately got into a huge argument and it didn't look like it would stop anytime soon. "I better get out of here while I still can. This doesn't look like a good place to be." the cog said to himself. So quietly, the cog made his way to what appeared to be an exit and ran into a corridor.

"Do I have to do this?" one of the TIA officers whinnied to Chipper. He wanted to roll his eyes, but he wanted to show respect. "Yes officer, you do. I want that full analysis scan of Alpha Delta HQ from your squad within two hours. Flippy is counting on you." With that, the officer made a brief salute before returning to his group. Chipper sighed and headed back to his office. When he sat down in his chair, he reflected on what has happened recently.

Ever since Flippy spilled the beans on how he accidentally dropped The Box in Alpha Delta HQ (That is the new nickname for The Secret Cog Headquarters), the TIA has been working nonstop to find the best way to locate and recover The Box before the cogs could find out a way destroy it. They had already discovered that the cogs had taken The Box from the spot Flippy dropped it, so it was only a matter of time before they figured out its purpose. So the TIA broke up into squads so they could cover all they needed to know and recognize before they made their move to recover The Box.

Chipper was about to take a short nap in his office chair when a cat TIA officer burst in the door and said with enthusiasm, "Sir! We've located The Box!"

I refuse to write anymore if I'm only going to be writing to a wall. Doesn't make much sense to write a story if no one is going to care.
