I've seen this, he's talking when cogs jump to the side, then shuffle back. If one is in the middle then 2 have to jump, the inner one and the one closest to the outside. If you, for example, throw a pie at a cog in the middle and a pie at one of the sides, sometimes the middle cog will jjump out of the way moving the other cog, which then gets hit even though it's not in a place it could be hit. That was probaly totally not understandable, but it's hard to explain.

gotta love when one cog jumps out of the way and the gag misses, but the second cog gets nailed with the other gag.
I always found that amusing or..........................
when one person throws a low level gag and the cog jumps out of the way... but gets nailed with the higher level gag.
