It is clear that you can tell a little bit about a toon by his gag selection. This is for toons with 6 gags, so if you only have throw and squirt, you wouldn't have to think you're like all of the things I said.
No Toon-up: This is the people you will probably see soloing. They don't have toon-up probably because they are independent and they are offensive, and want to keep the damage up. They lure when the goings get tough, but then they let the damage fly! Also, they might use SOS toons to heal them so he/she can also be healed.
No Trap: This category is probably the most common one. Trap can be sometimes unrealible and hard to train(especially if you don't have lure) and if som1 lures, you use TNT on a 12, and the others use cream pies on a 10, causing problems because TNT cannot kill the 12, getting damage on everybody(or just you). Also there's the inconvience of luring, and then having 3 low-level traps, letting 3 cogs attack your group in a factory/mint/building. You can't carry many trap gags, so use of traps are limited.
No Lure: These people, like me, believe there's too many toons with lure(there PROBABLY isn't) so we want to use TNT and Trapdoor with the lure to blow up many cogs. Low-level traps are useful for destroying those low-level cogs in the VP and the CFO, so every1 can concentrate on the higher level cogs, but if 3 people use marbles, for example, on 3 level 10 cogs and one lures, it creates a problem. Also toons with lure could decide the happiness of an uber-toon, so that's a great responsibility for a low-accuracy gag. It is better to use only one hypno-goggles than a hypno-goggles and a magnet, because the chances are averaged, not combined.
No Sound: This category is the least used, in my opinion. Sound is very popular, unleashing 3 maxed foghorns can almost defeat anything(has the strength of TNT). It is very accurate as well. Sound can unleash a potential maximum of 200 damage total, higher than anything, but it's spread out, which causes problems, because you'll probably destroy all the cogs within a few turns, and before that, they'll almost always target you. That's what the people without sound fear, or that they'll accidently use sound when som1 uses lure.
No Drop: This is the second most popular group. These toons aren't risk-takers, and drop has really low accuracy, that could decide wether your toon is sad or not. Many people decide not to take this risk. Some toons also complain that it's too hard to train, and it is hard to train. However, a skill some toons lack is that if someone's using a safe, it would be better to use squirt(or sound or throw) than to use a lower-level drop, because the accuracy rate is averaged, not combined.
I hope this guide helps(it won't help too many of you, that's what I think) and I hope this guide will influence your gag choices. If you disagree with anything, post it and I will probably change it.
