Why do you all praise drop? It's accuracy, expecailly flower pot is the same as using a $1 or 5 bill on the lvl. 11 cogs.
It never works on lure.
It is the last going,so cogs are usuall blown by then.
It almost always requires squrit
So....answers please.

Of course it never works on lure. Cogs are lured don't expect drop to hit unless someone hits the cog first without killing it. Yes you are right when stating that drop practically never works when you use a lower drop gag on a high cog... just like if you use a 1$ or 5$ bill on a level 10-12 cog. It's not big enough. As far as needing squirt half the time you use drop, no. I've never seen that. Drop works just as well with sound and pies/cakes. If by chance someone chooses to use drop on a cog that 3 other toons are about to hit with a high gag, then that was that toon's problem. He should have waited to use his drop. It is very easy to determine what gags will kill what cogs. The person using drop needs to develope an understanding of that because they need to base their strategy on good timing. As far as everyone supposively praising drop, that made me laugh because EVERYONE I talk to hates drop. Drop is a risk. But technically so is lure at it's beginner levels. I've yet to hear someone say they love drop. I don't mind drop because I've learned when to use it and when not to. It's all based on patience. Well, I'm done giving my insight. Ciao. Gwen

For me it is a toss up between trap and drop (which one I like the best). You can't work them alone easily. You are correct in your statement about needing squirt...even the toon tips tell ya that "Drop is more likely to hit when the cog is stunned by another gag first". I find the most valuable gag to be lure. My first toon doesn't have that and I am always relying on others to help me get bucks and merits because I can't even solo the factory with her.
I will say I do love my drop once I got to the big weight and beyond. I see it to be as reliable now as the other gags. And, if the cog is destroyed before I get to drop then that's a good thing, right? That is the goal. But, if it isn't destroyed then my drop will certainly finish him off . The new toon I am making is going to have drop and not trap but I will never forgo lure again.
Choices and teamwork...

Well, I'm right there with you. I hate drop and wish I'd never chosen it. In battle I'll often pick drop as a substitue to passing. I know the other toon's gags will kill the cog but just in case they miss, my drop is last in line and just may hit. That's the only reason I have lvl 4 drop because I never use it otherwise.

I will say it is funny to see another toon drop a piano on a cog.

The only up-side I can see of Drop is that you get to see Cogs get squished by a piano!

At first drop isnt worth it to most toons untill they get to 1 ton, Safe, and the almighty piano which makes drop good as a back up gag and if you want the others to save up their throws squirts, traps ect ect its technicly your last line of defesne or you just want the cog dead fast without wasting anymore gags.

actually trap is stronger than drop... but drop is still pretty strong. I agree that drop isn't good until you get to 1 ton. After that, it almost always hits and it is funny to watch cogs being hit with pianos!

Well said. Drop is a more powerful gag, kinda cool. It's always fun to finish a bulding, mint or the last vp cog with a mighty safe or piano. I personally love drop.(suprised you've never heard that before, in the old days on toontown it might have been the favorite gag type.

Although trap will do more damage, it takes two toons/gags to inflict that damage. So, although the damage is 180 you're really only doing 90 per toon/gag whereas the piano does all of its' damage all on it's own. Sure, without a prep it has more chance of missing but with no complimenting gag for trap it is 100% missing. Practically any complimenting gag with drop makes it the hardest hit.

I think the assertion of Drop being the most powerful gag is a fair and accurate one.

I was a drop hater for a looong time. My daughter's toon had drop and I swore I'd NEVER have a toon with drop, lol. Well, after bringing up 5 toons with trap I decided to make a toon with drop just for fun. She became my favorite toon! My Oreo! I picked drop in Donald's Dock and I pretended I didn't have squirt. Any time someone would squirt I would drop (unless squirt would kill, then I'd squirt too). For some reason my accuracy seemed about the same as lure. I had maxxed piano before I hit 90 laff and before I even got storm cloud, lol. I still love my piano especially in CFO when 3 small cogs and a 12 walk out. Drop works great with sound.

I still wish I could be a squirtless toon. Wouldn't that be fun?

Anyone who knew my toon "growing up" knew me as a notorious dropper.

I always loved drop. Trap is good too, but drop will always be the favorite gag around here. I also maxed it before any other gag.

I maxed drop before any other gag with my 2d toon Rainbow, she was 65 laffer when she reached piano (birthday cake was her last gag ) . I did it on purpose and for fun, wanting to be the lowest toon in TT carying a piano drop Whiles I was maxing it, I discovered its many advantages, one of which is actually not wasting gags. Instead of throwing 3 cream pies on high level cogs you backup the attack with a drop, thus saving cakes and squirts for later, which helps avoid situations that everyon runs out of "key" gags at the end of long cog battles (like 5 storey bldgs, for example) But it requires to be patient and "strategy-wise"

Thats funny, your drop misses most of the time :

However it does work well at begining of vp and cfo battles (if hits), try getting a group of strangers, to lure your trap and then hope someone will sound to get rid of level 12 cog/s is a nightmare in logistics. At least wid drop people automatically put sound on when they see it in cfo battle, most even expect someone to put piano on.

There is a chance that Disney will unlock 7th gag track during next pg or street creation and add new tasks for that, so we could all have both drop/trap wether u have both now or not?
