Where are all the minglers? When to go to Dreamland?

I have the task to get 10 minglers for one of the scripted tasks. I have been working in the brrgh.

I checked the brrgh on ALL the public districts and there was not a SINGLE sellbot building. In fact several of the districts had no buildings at all tonight.

I went to the Donald's Dreamland, and the two people waiting outside one of the two sellbot buildings said I was not ready for the building even though I have done buildings in Dreamland before.

My toon:

55 lp, squirt to firehose, throw to whole cream pie, drop to 100 lb weight, sound to oogah, and toon-up to bullhorn.

I typically play with my rl wife, and when we log off each evening we are in the top 5, if not top 2 for the Toon Platoon, unless we spent the night hopping between districts to find specific cog types.

I have the same task.

Don't limit yourself to the Brrrgh, that is what most people do, thus the buildings in there get picked off almost as fast as they drop.

here are some streets you can find sell buildings that would have cogs high enough levels to be minglers:

Donalds Dock - Seaweed St. (mostly cash/sell) & Lighthouse La. (all 4 kinds of cogs)

Daisy Gardens - Maple St. (this street is usually mostly law but can have a ll 4 kinds)

Minnie's Melodyland - Baritone Blvd. (mostly cash and some sell)

Brrrgh - Sleet Street (all 4 types)

Donalds Dreamland (all 4 types)

While having a level 4 building improves your chances I have seen many top cogs in size 2 and 3 buildings as well

I find that this depends on whose going into the building.

If there's two of you, and you're like 60 laff and 70 laff, the chance of higher cogs is a lot, lot higher than if you're a 60 laff going in with a 15 laff (I've noticed with a 15-laff in TT, I get mainly 1's and 2's - soloing on my own sees 4's, 5's and 6's - yes, I've had 6's in TT)

When you are staring at 4 level 11 minglers whom all paradigm shift you (or whatever) for -24 laff each, you'll understand the hesitancy. Don't feel like you are being singled out. They probably just felt like they needed someone with more laff/gags to get through it.

Go on a factory raid. this is a great place to get minglers and Mr Hollywoods. The blizzard wizzard sent me looking for SIX caviars from Mr Hollywoods. I got them in about 1/2 hour by raiding the factory. I got my 10 Minglers the same way. Good Luck!
