Lure Bonus.

Sometimes I go into buildings or do a Sellbot factory run. In both of these cases, I've used Lure, and then used either a throw or squirt gag on the lured cog, and had no lure bonus. I cannot see a reason why this happens. Do certain cogs get the bonus and other gags not get the bonus?

If somebody could explain this to me it would be really helpful.

I've posted these on another thread, so I'm just copy and pasting this info.

Boss battles and streets:
All cogs will be susceptible to lure bonus.

DAs, Mints and Factory:
The rightmost cog and the last cog standing are susceptible.

Buildings:
When cogs come out of the elevator, the cog that initiates the battle (the one that speaks to you) will be susceptible to lure bonus.


***Any other cogs out of what I outlined above: there is a chance you might or might not get the bonus, so its better to not leave it to chance.

This has been debated since sellbot factory first opened.

In buildings, it is indeed the first cog (which will stand on the right) and the last cogs standing. Ocassionally, it will also be the second from the left, usually when there are 4 cogs to begin with.

In the factory, the rightmost cog will get lure bonus, and in sets of 3 sometimes the left will, sometimes it wont. In the warehouse and center silo, where there are sets of 4, the second from the left WILL, as will the right, but not the other two... EXCEPT, that if you take them out one at a time, the last cog WILL no matter where he was standing.

As for the mint and DA, it appears to me to matter which cog you "touch" which ones actually get bonus.

The right always will.

sometimes the second from the left will, sometimes the far left will.

The last cog standing, if alone, will.
