BTW - for future reference. I saw question about how to quit without going sad.

IF you are with other toons who are not shopping
IF you want to save your merits for another run
IF you want to leave without causing the other toons to go sad
IF you don't mind leaving the gags & gag xp behind
IF you don't mind switching districts

THEN, wait until VP is falling over edge. Spend the time practicing your pie aim and gaining control of the blue pie bar. As soon as the VP starts to fall backwards Alt-X (or Alt-F4) out. You will end up in pit with whatever health and gags you had when you pressed alt-x. You will not be promoted and you will retain all of your merits. You will not gain any experience points or toontasks. You will also have a clean conscience and good karma knowing that you card shopped without being a Hollyjerk.

But, but, but! This group was designed so we could all be Hollyjerks! The group was made for quick access to great SOS cards, without having to go through the entire VP battle. We log out if it is a bad card over and over again, without the need to get more gags or laffpoints.

So, we log right away, while still being in suits, if the card is not good. Which is another way to quit without going sad!

Toons who come to our runs are all aware of how we do it. So no one really is left behind. Not directed to you, but if there are any problems with the way we shop, we suggest not participating in our events.

I understand that. Obviously, the whole point of shopping clan is to bail immediately.

My answer was directed at non-clan activities. There was a question asked on previous page and i did not think that anyone had sufficiently answered it. And the answer is - "yes. There is a way to bail out of random elevators without abandoning weaker toons to a doomed fight or spending hard earned merits on a worthless card."

I meant, if anyone hasn't already, and wants to, then sign up for TCB under group memberships in your USER CP. With that added to the clans, it makes it much easier to keep track of our members. So we no longer have to list our members in each of the main threads for each HQ. Instead, you sign un under group memberships, and you're listed as a member for all of them.
