Idea - New Weekend Event

This is what I think - I told this to BadgerDog in response to his PM...

Not many people wanted the lure cogs. I've seen like one or two who actually did. I like the original 7 during the week idea. Give about 5 hours for Melody, and 5 hours for Daffy. Since that's only 5/168 hours in the week. I think it's only fair you give that much time for each card. Or maybe Sunday is stay for Melody Wavers day, Saturday stay for Daffy Don day.

We don't want anything too complicated that members will have to memorize. I think having Saturday for Wavers, and Sunday for Daffy is fair.

I agree, plenty fair. It just makes things a little easier to memorize indeed.

I'm going to start on the rough draft of the thread's code unless someone says otherwise.

Why is it our responsibility to shop for a card beacause you decided not to pick that gag track? LOM is the best sos card for lure and its collected you can use that for lure..

This is by far the BEST solution I have read so far. I totally agree with it and I'll bet the memebers of TCB will to. It is simple and very effective. I say we do just that:


Wavers on Saturdays

Daffy Don on Sundays

I don't ever get Lil Oldman, I got none! They never let me have him.
And I'll stop using them when I have 5+ Lil Oldman's. I shop often and would like some help, and it looks like no more weekend shopping for me.

You do know that we're not just doing Melody Wavers and Daffy Don, but the original seven as well.

What do you mean no more Weekend shopping for you. Just because you can't stay for all 3 lure cards? You have LOM, who is one of the more common SOS cards out of our 7. You can have 1 lure card, make that LOM. The chances of you having to run from the lure card you want are 1 in 29. You are going to quit shopping on weekends because of that 1 in 29 chance you may have to run?

If we could help EVERYONE in this whole clan, I'm sure we would be staying for at least 15 cards. Which is almost like going with randoms and staying for every card. Let's make a list of some cards I've heard once or more people want:

1. Barnacle Bessie (170 Drop)
2. Clerk Clara (180 Trap)
3. Prof. Pete (Restock All)
4. LOM (Lure)
5. Franz Neckvein (100 drop)
6. Moe Zart (80 sound)
7. Flippy (Max TU)
8. Melody Wavers (Restock Sound)
9. Daffy Don (70 TU)
10. Mr. Freeze (Cogs Miss)
11. Stinky Ned (Lure)
12. Nancy Gas (Lure)
13. Flim Flam (Cogs Miss)
14. Julius Wheezer (Cogs Miss)
15. Soggy Nell (Toons Hit)
16. Sticky Lou (Toons Hit)
17. Soggy Bottom (Toons Hit)

Are we supposed to stay for all of them just to make everyone happy? This clan is about getting the best 8 SOS cards that most people prefer. A lot of the cards on this list are cards only 2 or 3 people out of all of our members might prefer. While the others are what the majority prefer.

And Yes, on Saturdays and Sundays we will stay for all 7 Official TCB cards + Melody (on Saturday or v/v) and Daffy Don (on Sunday or v/v)

In the end, we shouls stay for 9 cards out of the possible 29. That seems fair. 7 cards on weekdays, 8 cards on Saturday, 8 cards on Sunday. I think this is a great idea. The chances of you having to stay for an unwanted card are 1 in 29 per attempt. The chances you will have to run on a wanted card are 1 in 29 per attempt. I can't see how people could argue with this system. If we could make everyone satisfied we would, but that's not how the world is.

OK I will stop using the lures after this, starting me with franz and maybe melody. Can anyone help me with Lil Oldman, he's my rarest card never see that rabbit.
