OFFICAL - NO Staying for an 8th SOS Card!

Finally, we've come to a decision that we will not be staying for any 8th SOS card.

The rule is if the SOS card is NOT on the list, you MAY NOT stay. We are making it this way to keep thnigs more orderly and less confusing. Do NOT call stay for a card not on the list - no exceptions. You may not stay for any other card than the list shows. So if you want to shop for another SOS card, you must switch districts away from the TCB Guild. These are the cards you MUST STAY FOR - no exceptions:

Good idea now it's more even because lotsa people don't like Wavers like me and I collect all the lures.
So this evens it out .

I saw your post that said what a great decision and that so many are happy they said no 8th. card. That decsion will make it impossible for anyone to max all 8 cards. I have 51 wavers. I was always willing to stay for Daffy Don so those who wanted could get her. With the decision I wont be able to to max. Thus I will never be able to truly max sell or see my book full which we now know to be possible.

I respect your decision and recognize the guild was founded on this principle of 7cards. I joined prior to knowing there was a limit and maxing was possilbe. So may I request Crazy River be recognized as a district known to shop Melody Wavers and the other 7 Cards. I want to form a team that when you see me in Crazy River it means im shopping Melody Wavers included and I have a team. If you come, even though we not secrets, you are my friends and this a shopping team for Wavers. We will have a greeting "Lets Use Sound" , Yes! It means we are Shopping Melody Wavers. Cog miss toons should do same as should the Daffys{no pub intened LOL}. If you like her, come on down to Dynos located in the Crazy River district. Bring friends maybe we get 2 teams. Love you all.

I am trying to get all 800 cards. So i can take a screen shot. Its a goal i never before set for myself but now i realize it can be my accomplishment Also, by the voting, Melody Wavers won by a democratic process. Yet we by-pass that process. Whose teaching Civics around here LOL.

I just think that leaving the 7 cards we already have as our official cards is the best option for this guild. Look at the poll, the amount of votes is heavily distributed. Do you really want to upset about 60 ot 70 percent of the other members just to make 30 to 40% happy? I wouldn’t want to. I say the best option is to just leave the guild as it is and if people want to collect an extra card then they should do it on their own. This will put everyone on the same page and will keep everyone from having any discouraged feelings. Remember, what will keep a guild alive is the members, and if 60 to 70% of the members are discouraged on how things are, they will not be staying for long.

Great decision guys. I just thought I would post what sparked the idea. I believe the phrase is.....Give credit where credit is do. I think this is the best decision that could of been made.

I dont' know why there was a poll, since it meant nothing why bother? I will accept the decision that was made by the people that run TCBG. They work hard and it is appreciated. I will just shop mostly in Crazy River. I like Melody Wavers, I think it's a plus to have her when doing da's and mints.
I would of been happy to stay for someone elses card if they asked. That is teamwork, friends helping each other out. I didn't know there were so many toons not willing to help out the toons that like Melody Wavers. If someone came to the group shopping and asked if we would stay for a different card because they needed it, I would of been glad to help them out and I know of several nice toons that would of helped them get the card they needed.
Let's stay away from polls, since they mean nothing. Everyone that participated wasted their time. I learned along time ago you don't always get what you want.
Even though I will shop in Crazy River now for Melody, if anyone needs an extra toon to shop for a card other than Melody I would be glad to join you. I would stay for your card too without hesitation. Can't toons just help each other out?
The Serenity Prayer is the only thing that comes to my mind at this moment.
