I totally agree with you, but as you can see, people are still talking about adding in another card and some toons are still staying for Wavers.

This "discussion" has come and gone throughout the history of the shopping group, even before it was called the TCB. We all just need to let it go. We only stay for 7 cards. The original leaders of the TCB from way back when collect Wavers (as do I) and they have accepted that we don't stay for an eighth card because it works better for the group as a whole. There is no way to please everyone. Trust me when I say that they have really tried.

How are we supposed to organize so the rule is enforced and members don't break the rule?

Well, there is no way you can control what other people are doing. I would set the rules and lock the thread so there is no discussion after the rules are set. Other than that, people will either work together as a team or they won't. Sure you can PM people and let them know if they were breaking rules, but if they already know the rules and they don't follow them, I doubt a friendly reminder will change anything.

I'm wondering if everyone would be happier if instead of not staying for an 8th card at ALL we could come to a mutual agreement of two or three cards which are mandatory to stay for (such as melody, daffy, and cogs miss).

To me it stinks to know I'll never get to earn a daffy if I run with the TBC. I'd be more than happy to stay for a Melody, or a cogs miss or whatever, as long as others were willing to stay for Daffy.

I've been weighing the pros and cons...

If we don't have any 8th card to stay for there is no confusion and you don't have to stay for a card you don't collect.

However, if we mutually agree to stay for two or three other cards then we all get to collect the cards we collect. Yes that would mean staying for a card we may not need from time to time, but to me that greatly outweighs the disappointment of never getting the 8th sos card we collect.

I have no idea if I'm making any sense. I need sleep, LOL.

It just seems in talking with other players that they'd be willing to stay for a melody, daffy, and cogs miss even if it meant they are staying for a card they don't need. This way we all get what we are searching for, and helping others in the meantime.

Just my views on it.
I just wanted to add that I didn't mean to imply that I wanted anyone to break the rules and go against what you said Cory. I think rules are good and I am not going to go against your rules. It actually irritated me yesterday when everyone decided to stay for the Melody because just a couple trips prior they did not hesitate to run from a Daffy. I wanted to run from that Melody because I knew thats what the rules say to do, but if I had then I would have left a toon alone by themselves on our side. I wouldn't have minded as much staying yesterday if it was fair to those who didn't want the card.

My words were just a suggestion and my opinion on it. I wasn't trying to argue with the rules you and others have already decided on. I think you guys have done a tremendous job with this group and I'm so happy to have run with you. Now that I have gotten a taste for it I'm excited to sign myself up as a member.

What if you gather a group that likes wavers? Could you stay for them or is it completely against the TCB rules?
