"You can please some of the people some of the time...but you can't please all of the people all of the time." Abraham Lincoln
At any rate, I think sticking with the original 7 is a good decision for the TCB as well. Too many people want different 8th cards. Everybody has differing thoughts, opinions, and preferences and for differing reasons. And, if we didn't, life (even in Toon Town) would be pretty boring. It's easy enough for anyone looking for something other than those 7 cards to find a few people and go somewhere else for a while. And, when we want to have fun with the rest of the TCB shoppers, we can hop on back to Bouncy Town. Works for me.

I was in the CJ with a soundless toon on my side. Melody Wavers came in quite handy for him. The toons with sound had to use more fogs to kill the cogs and our sound supply ran out quickly so this soundless toon called upon Melody Wavers to restock our sound. Most toons prefer to use sound because it is quicker and easiest. If you do mints and da offices you will find it handy to have restock sound when it isn't available on the barrels. Why should I waste Pete for restock sound when I don't need to restock all? |

Thanks for wasteing my time with a worthless poll. If you want to collect wavers start your own shopping group I think is the answer, but i do like the level of play of the groups that go from this gang. So ill still be shopping most of the time with them. But if i was a no sound toon i would lover wavers to restock the toons that have just used all their sound to cover my lack of. But at least this is now settled so lets boogie! Bob

i think its a great idea too but ill always check the other district first
untill dyno gets 100 i dont really care i have less than 15 of each so that goal is far for me to reach the only thing that stinks about not having an 8th card is the amount of time it will take to get 100 of the one that isnt shopped for. |

I know it really isn't a big deal, but I've seen two groups so far stay for melody. For the ones who collect melody you guys/girls say "lets go back to pg! Np!" Well it is a problem if I go back and there isnt enough to board elevator because I'm on my uber to be, and I rather not 4 man on a 15 laffer. I know it doesn't matter what I collect on it, but, it could really help me out a lot if someone was griefing me or something in the future and I had a 5 STAR sos card. It's not that I care so much people stay for mel, it's that right before it we ran from daffy... and I do collect Daffy on my bigger toon. Its really annoying to see that I have to run, because there isnt even a second thought about Daffy when I run into one, but when we get Mel there are pauses of whether to stay or not. There really shouldn't be a pause because its not part of the 7 we stay for. If you want to get mel then do it on your own time with your own friends because it really does waste some people who don't collect other sos's time. And yes as I said before, just in case you missed it, it is a problem if I run when everyone else is staying for mel...then theres only like 2 other people to go with sometimes. -_- I don't know , I'm not trying to argue or anything I just dont think its fair, esspecially when it goes against the rules.

Was that in Bouncytown or Bouncyville, the designated districts? I know there are shoppers that are gathering a few others from in game and going to different districts for Wavers or whatever 8th card they're looking for, but they shouldnt be doing it in Boucytown or Bouncyville.
I haven't shopped in the last few days (with the exception of a few unlucky attempts tonight), so I dont know, but maybe there are some who haven't been clued in on the fact that we're only staying for 7 cards again. It'll probably take a little while (hopefully not too long) for everyone to figure out that we are no longer staying for Mel anymore. And, I agree... if they do already know it's the rule, they shouldnt even be debating whether to stay for it or not. |

I was just in a SOS shopping vp ( I wont say which district ) and it was a Melody card and everyone but me wanted it so we stayed. I had no problem with staying.
I'm wondering if everyone would be happier if instead of not staying for an 8th card at ALL we could come to a mutual agreement of two or three cards which are mandatory to stay for (such as melody, daffy, and cogs miss). To me it stinks to know I'll never get to earn a daffy if I run with the TBC. I'd be more than happy to stay for a Melody, or a cogs miss or whatever, as long as others were willing to stay for Daffy. I've been weighing the pros and cons... If we don't have any 8th card to stay for there is no confusion and you don't have to stay for a card you don't collect. However, if we mutually agree to stay for two or three other cards then we all get to collect the cards we collect. Yes that would mean staying for a card we may not need from time to time, but to me that greatly outweighs the disappointment of never getting the 8th sos card we collect. I have no idea if I'm making any sense. I need sleep, LOL. It just seems in talking with other players that they'd be willing to stay for a melody, daffy, and cogs miss even if it meant they are staying for a card they don't need. This way we all get what we are searching for, and helping others in the meantime. Just my views on it.

You should read the front pages of these kind of threads more, the rules and everything are listed there. Don't ask the question, if you didn't take any time to read the answer LittleMonkey86 |
