He's supposed to hold for 4 rounds. Could be that even though the lure worked, maybe he 'missed, so that it only lured for 1 round.

So having Melody is almost like having an extra pete. If I have 20 melody and 20 petes, it's almost like I have 40 pete's. It seems that way to me.
Except if you use those 20 petes and then happen to need a pete, then that melody is like not having a pete. But if you have 40 actual pete's and use 20, then you still have 20 actual pete's. I mean you can do it how you want, obviously. Just that if you only sound your way through something, then even with Pete, the only restocking will be sound. But at least if you are using other gags too, they'll get restocked as well, so that you not only have them to use again, but you save a few beans at the gag shop too. Also keep in mind that if someone else has used up some of their other gags, they get those back, and it helps them out as well as the others.

Still, if you're gonna go down, go down fighting. Not only a test of your skill, but if you manage to make it through, might save at least one level 7 gag, and that would make it worth the effort.

It's like having organic gags. If you get a free level 7 per day, and it's less than 30 minutes before you have a new one on the tree, you still have 1 to pick, 1 on you, and 500 pts to go, do you just let one get wasted or do you go and use 1 real fast, even if it's just for the fun of it, and get yourself caught up so that you don't lose any at all? Either way it's one that won't get used in a battle, so I say to spend it and have fun with it.

The one time I went was with the TCB, and the toons seemed very nice and helpful. I don't know WHO this was, nor do I know if he was in the TCB, but he ran. From a Flippy. We went to the elevator, and boom! Flippy. I was so happy; my first run, and I would get a Flippy! But I didn't, of course. This toon shouted, "Run!" And he alt+F4'ed out, in which made two other toons scared, and they went. Then the other toons said, "Let's go back to the playground!" Because we had only five people.

I am very angry with this person, because that would have been my 5th Flippy card [I love collecting Flippy] and he ruined it for me, and the other toons, as well. I managed to get out before I lost everything, but it was a close call.

*sigh*

Why didnt you stay with 5? That is more than enough to finish....Unless you had alot of low suits.

Don't think he does anymore... everyone I've heard says he only lasts for 1 round...

We both have our opinions. I guess the reason I collect her is because my playing style, along with my friends I play with, involve using sound a lot. I just think Melody would be more useful to ME, than any of the other cards. Maybe for others one of the other cards would be more useful to them, so I'm in no way telling them to collect Melody, it would just be best for me

If I happen to collect a couple of more, I'll be sure to try to test him out. If he's not holding for more than 1 round, then it's probably a good idea to start sending in bug reports, and hope that TT didn't change the lure rules on LOM. If they didn't and it's doing that, then they need to fix it.

I'm pretty sure he used to hold 5. Maybe he the cog levels he's used against effects the # of rounds he holds?

Bug Reports would be a good idea.

Yea your so right he did use to hold longer than just one round. I'm not entirely sure of when they decide he would only hold for one round, all I can say is that one round is useless.

My first toon is lureless and for a long time I refused to collect LOM.

Last summer when Little Ricky was working in Sell, I remember LOM only holding for one round on numerous occasions. Also, Corny Wackysnout (who is lureless) has never had a good experience with LOM. I did see LOM hold for at least two rounds a couple weeks ago, but that was the first time I ever saw that happen.

I agree with James! Something I always keep in mind is "Always think before you speak!" Good idea to do so before venting here and being negative. Negativity is any organizations enemy.

You can let the toon slide this time, but if it happens again, you should contact him.

In my CJ solo, I used 2 LOMs and he held for 4 rounds on each. Each lure was used on the following sets: 11, and three 12s, and the second set was four 12s. Dont think it has to do with the size of the cog, might be he missed and his lure only worked for one round.
