We've had a lot of problems with advertising in Userpages as of late. One member, Squiddy22, has offered to spend time removing links from music video codes. We encourage you to PM him if you have advertising in a music video and cannot remove it yourself. I am willing to do my best to remove advertising from any other HTML you have.

I'd also like use this post to clarify several things. At this point in time, we do not have a list of preapproved sites to use for making userpages. This means that you cannot, under any circumstances, have a link to a site or a site name in your Userpage that was not already preapproved. This is the exact same rule that we use for posts, it is not a special circumstance.

Also, you cannot have any non G-rated content on your userpage. This includes, but is not limited to the content in: music videos, songs, pictures, or any text. If the mods have to clear non G-rated content off your page, you are far more likely to receive a warning, not a request to remove it. TTC.com is a site that we strive to keep safe for children of all ages, and as such we cannot allow anything that compromises this.

To sum up the entire post: Pm Squiddy22 if you have music video advertising issues, he's offered to clean them up. Your userpage is held to the exact same rules as any post you made, and this is clearly detailed through our site guidelines. Please review them if you are not sure if something you are doing will break a rule.

If I can see a site name, or click on a link to go that site, it's advertising.

If you folks haven't checked out EKB's userpage, I highly suggest you do. I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time!

Its pretty easy to remove advertising
If you need help making it so your images dont link to imageshack and other stuff
just PM me. Or i can try removing the advertising in music videos too.

I don't think imageshack is an unnaproved site. I beieve it's okay.

Its not that hard to remove the advertising. All you have to do is delete the URL's in the video code.

Well, there are certain URL's that need to be deleted. I know you can do it yourselves, but if you're busy, and you don't have time to do it, that's where I come in!
