Registrations from mailinator not allowed

Nobody who is registering a new account eveer reads this stuff, but I'm putting it here just so I can say that I did.

New users trying to register with a mailinator email addres (user@mailinator.com) will find that email address will not work.

I will review Mailinator, but I don't think it is in the best interest of the existing users of this site to allow new users in who register with that email.

Everyone who registered there accounts a while ago can read this, so I'm putting it just so I can say I did < I think I responded right to rcv's way of saying "hi peeps, how r u doing">

yes fine idea with mailinator ( I had to check it on the web though cause "me english no good"),

Mailinator is a disposable e-mail address service. It accepts mail for any username and allows anyone to read it without having to create an account or enter a password. It is intended to allow people to provide an anonymous and temporary address to an untrusted person, such as a website suspected of selling addresses to spammers...

more u can find here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mailinator

yet I didn't exactly get this part:

How can existing users (members like me for example) allow "mailinator-based" users in?

Its inda troublesome if you want to send out an email to everyone. Alot of times on EBO forum, I keep getting error messages when I send out an email to everyoen cause people register fake emails.
So, if the account gets deleted, youll have those probllems.

Yes, so that's why ???@mailinator adresses shouldn't be used. Mailinator means well, and it is probably useful in most cases, but Toontown Central is not a spam site. So basically, if someone were to use a mailinator address, and they lost their password or username, then they'd be in trouble. ^_^;

Actually, they COULD do a password recovery with mailinator. Emails there get deleted after a few days, but they would stay long enough for a password recovery.

Of course, ANYONE could get that password recovery email, since all you need to know is the email address. No password is required to see emails.

Evil Kid Bugs likes to go through the obvious email addresses on mailinator and read the stuff there.

My problem is that there is no possible way to trace anyone to a mailinator address. The free emails, like hotmail and gmail, can trace their users. Even hushmail, which is super-secure, can trace users.

Mailinator can't trace users, since ANYONE and EVERYONE can use any address. If someone was planning on doing nasty stuff, that's the way they would go.
