Regarding Message Board Bullying
Lately, several people seem to feel helpless when it comes to people being rude to other members and bickering ensues. I’ll keep this sweet and to the point:
If you feel someone is following you around the boards, continuously disrupting your threads and otherwise causing you to feel harassed after you’ve asked them repeatedly & nicely to leave you alone, please contact a moderator of this board OR report the post using the following icon located at the top right-hand corner of the offending post and this will send a message to all moderators. If you respond to them by cussing, bickering back or harassing them in return, you may be subject to moderator action (warning, suspension, banning) also. If you simply report that person’s behavior, a moderator will take it from there and hopefully, they will stop it. If they don’t stop after that, harsher action may be taken, depending on the severity of the harassment.
You don’t have to like the person, you don’t have to agree with the person, but resorting to name-calling, harassment, badgering or bullying on the boards isn't allowed. And responding in a negative way (cussing, belittling, making fun of, name-calling, etc) is just as bad.
Sometimes a moderator may not see or know what’s going on. Don’t rely on a moderator to come upon and automatically know that a person is specifically targeting you. We have several thousand people on this board and can’t know what every single one is doing. Report them and let us take care of it. That’s what we’re here for. We want to try to keep the message board a place where people can express opinions without worrying about this type of thing.
