User Control Panel Guide

This is a guide to your User CP. "User CP" stands for User Control Panel. To get there, click on the "User CP" button at the top between the "Forums" and "Register" buttons. The "User CP" button will look like this:



Once you get to the Control Panel, you can do several things. There are four different categories of options: Settings & Options, Private Messages, Subscribed Threads and Miscellaneous. Here is what the list of User CP options looks like:





User CP

This is the first page you should see when you open up your User CP. You will see your Subscribed threads




Edit Email & Password

"Edit Email & Password" should be the first subcategory from your control panel.From here you can change your password or update your e-mail address. Make sure to hit "Save Changes" when you're done.





Edit Profile

From here you can edit your user profile. Here you can enter optional information. Any information entered here will be viewable by other members of Toon Town Central Forums. You can enter your Toons' information such as his/her gags, laff points, etc. which will be put in your profile, you can also enter additional information for your profile. But please, no specifics on the location. When you're done, hit the "Save Changes" button.



Edit Options

Here you can disable your reputaion, or make your vCard downloadable. If you allow your vCard to be downloaded, then your e-mail address will be viewable to any members of the forums that download the vCard. You can also can edit your messaging and notification information. I reccomend that you keep Private Messaging on at all times. Also, you can edit your thread display options. All of the options will probably start out as the forum defaults. You can edit your time and date options. Please click here for more information on time zones.



Edit Avatar

From the "Edit Avatar" page, you can choose an avatar. You can pick a pre-defined standard avatar, or upload one of your own. But if you upload your own, it has to be G-Rated. At the top of the "Edit Avatar" subcategory screen, you will see your current avatar. If you do not want an avatar, select "Do not use an avatar".


If you wish to upload your own avatar, then scroll down to where you find the upload option. Hit "Browse", then find the file for it. Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 64 by 64 pixels or 20.0 KB (whichever is smaller).



Edit Profile Picture

Here you can upload a picture for your profile. Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 180 by 200 pixels or 97.7 KB (whichever is smaller). The same main rule that applies to avatars also applies to custom images; it has to be G-Rated.
