Userpage Guideline Reminders (Please Read)

It seems to me that some users don't associate the ToontownCentral Guidelines with their userpages. The rules for userpages are the exact same as posting on the forum. Here are some quick reminders of the more common infractions.

Inappropriate/Non G-Rated Discussions

Posts which contains subjects such as: foul language/cussing, nudity and ***, violence, drug or alcohol use (or any other illegal substance), etc., and/or that may be offensive to parents of younger children, will be removed immediately. This includes foul language, inappropriate pictures or external website links, "sympathy" threads, discussions about friends/family members/pets dying, discussions about mental illness or disease that may be inappropriate for children. If you are uncertain as to whether a certain subject, word, image, or link is allowed, contact a moderator or administrator before adding it to this site.
This applies to all forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures.

In trying to relate this to your userpage, I'd like to remind people that this rule goes for text, text on photos, songs/song lyrics, and anything else you can put on your userpage.

Personal Information

This site has children present therefore asking for or volunteering personal information is not allowed. Personal Info consists of Real Life Names, Age, Gender, Location, Email Address exchanges, Instant messenger ID's, Password/Account Information, School Information and other similar details. This also applies to posting personal pictures of the users, their schools, homes (that include their exact locations), etc.
This applies to all forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures. We here at Toontowncentral.com and VMKForums.com strive to keep the environment as safe as possible for our users.
This also includes sites like *******.com, Xanga.com, or any type of social sites that allow personal information or unappropriate material that does not fall under the G-rating rules of this site. Any site that is not officially approved by the ToonTownCentral.com or VMForums.com Staff is not allowed to be advertised on ToonTownCentral.com or VMKForums.com.
Profiles may be checked for content periodically & if deemed inappropriate will be removed and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Apart from inappropriate material, this is the most common offense. YOU MAY NOT POST YOUR AGE,YOUR NAME, OR YOUR EXACT LOCATION ON YOUR USERPAGE. This is for your safety. Along with the previously mentioned information, please do not post your specific grade. General levels of education are okay.

Highly Controversial Topics

These conversations tend to lead to violent outbursts based on strong personal beliefs. Posts which contain political commentary, religious or other highly controversial topics will be removed and action will be taken depending on the severity.
These topics may (but are not limited to) contain beliefs/opinions on religion, political subject matter (i.e., new governmental laws, candidates, etc.), abortion, ****** orientation and/or highly controversial current events.
This also applies to all forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures.

Please keep all highly controversial topics out of your userpage. Any photos with religious, political, or other highly controversial references will be removed and suspensions handed out accordingly.

The Abercrombie & Fitch brand/chain (a.k.a.: Abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and RUEHL No.925) are considered non-G. Which means that we do not allow them on our site.
The sentence "I love you" or shortened versions (such as ily or ilu) is/are not allowed because it is viewed as promoting personal relationships.

Is telling what you do for a living, and sharing nicknames accepted since it isn't real personal information?

Hobbies are perfectly acceptable as long as they are appropriate, same goes for careers and nicknames. If they are g-rated and not highly controversial, then it is fine to have that stuff on your userpage.

As long as it isn't next to a name, such as
♥ -Random Name-
Then it should be fine.

In order to get a userpage, you must donate to upgrade your account.
