I keep trying to customize my profile picture and i keep getting this dumb message: Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Someone Help!

What images are you trying to use? I've never seen that error before.

I found images on google and Yahoo I liked, but none of them seem to work. They're not inappropriate or anything. I really don't know the problem... It always gives me that message or for some of them it'll say invalid file. I don't know what's going on

PM me the links to the images and I'll see if I can add them for you. Might help me find out what the problem is too.

if you get an invalid file type while loading an image, you are probably trying to load a .bmp file which we don't allow. Most people don't even use that file type anymore because they tend to be huge files.

ok it seems I finally got around it, anytime i used the URL it had that issue. I saved it to the desktop and uploaded it from there and if finally worked that way. However, thanks for your help. May have been a URL issue, I think most of them were from the same place.

Glad you managed to get them uploaded. Though I'll add this to the list of possible bugs with profiles. We have several we need to work out.
