They are helpful at times, and every time you click on one it give Nick a little money for clicking on it.

The sponser links do not really bother me.

I don't think subscribed member should see less, I think they should see the same amount of ads that members see.

But, the ads are what keep the site running. No ads, no TTC.

Please do not click on something unless you are interested, yes It gives the fansite money but if you start clicking for no reason we could get banned.

Yes they do help. I was thinking of allowing mega and lifetime members to select a less ad skin.

My point is is that if mega and lifetime members get to have a less ad skin, that would kind of get some regular members a little mad.

Maybe you could make a subscription that makes you have a less ad skin, and it cost like 8$ a month.

That is my thought.

Wow that's really dumb haha. Banned for over-clicking a useless ad.

That would be Click Fraud if you clicked every ad and xed out when the page loaded. Since people are paying to advertise there.

edit:
Quote:
Click fraud is a type of internet crime that occurs in pay per click online advertising when a person, automated script, or computer program imitates a legitimate user of a web browser clicking on an ad, for the purpose of generating a charge per click without having actual interest in the target of the ad's link.

Use of a computer to commit this type of Internet fraud is a felony in many jurisdictions. There have been arrests relating to click fraud with regard to malicious clicking in order to deplete a competitor's advertising budget.

Mega and Lifetime memberships cost a lot of money. Regular members should have no say (IMO) in the perks that those higher levels get. If you want the perks of such a membership, pay for it yourself.

(Disclaimer: I am a regular member.)

Personally, the placement of the ads doesn't bother me. They're text ads, and relatively unobtrusive. I've found interesting things from the Google text ads before.
