Negative Rep?

I would like to know how to give negative Rep. Because I recieved it today... How are you able to do that I am wondering?

I dont think you can give neg. rep anymore. I think that they gave you positive rep with a rude message. What did they say?

That is what I thought too, but it said,

"rude"

well here is a guide to rep made by Toontown Dawg. It will show the color of the bean and what they mean. According to the guide "yellow" is highly positive reputation. You can't just give negative reputation just like that, can you?

Only moderators/administrators can add negative rep via the Admin/Mod Control Panel or the Scale. Otherwise, they have disabled it to the users.

Thats what I was thinking since after I posted I knew that members cant give neg. rep, but some people have it. So it was probably the mods. If you don't know why you got bad rep, i guess you can just PM them.

If you click on where it says the topic your rep/neg. rep was given, you will see the post. That might explain the neg. rep.

So that means that it was a Moderator that gave me a Negative Rep? Because I did get yellow, and it was dark yellow, which means bad....

If that's true then someone needs to grow up based on what I saw when editing my profile. If the nonsense I saw beside the yellow jellybeans was not from a moderator status then something needs fixing. Moderators of all people should respect users and allow them to post without being chastised. If they dont find the topic of interest or cannot relate to it then they shouldnt reply - anywhere - about it. There are thousands of other threads they can exert their input on.

I think you should include a column with their user name so people are accountable for these and someone who just doesn't like the poster posting anything doesn't prank the rep of others frivolously.

This is for others of course. I've disabled mine. It's not a relevent feature to posting and relating to people with similar experiences.

I konw this has seeminly already been answered, but Batleth, or any other mod, is it true that only you guys can give negative rep?
