This is what i did too now the only clock that is wrong is the one at the bottom of the page that tell me what time it is for me but the posting times and last visited times are right now.

Right -- that's the point.

Like I said: A solution I found to this would be to set your clock 3 hours ahead in your "Options" in the "User Control Panel." i.e. If your in the Eastern Timezone you should set your time settings to -8 GMT.

It's a vBulletin bug that wasn't fixed in the recent update but hopefully the Administrators can find a vB Code Fix for it. For now, we just need to cope.

Might want to see if the server setup has both a hardware clock and a software clock. I'm guessing as I've not dealt with window servers in a long time but on or the other could be having issues. Might have something to do with a missing DST patch and another thing to check it the NTP (Network Time Protocol) drift [if it's even set on].

Server is fine. It's a software issue within vB. The vB updates that were suppose to fix it, just didn't do anything about the problem.

Post time?

Whats up with site today, I say today but something was bugging me about post time before today, but definetely noticed it today?

The times right, as current time 9.44pm my time. But just posted and it's put post time a 12.10am Today, the server clock is a little fast by my watch anyways, but thats makes my post and other post times as -21 hours.

I know was problem mentioned few months ago about posts being about 3hours behind, but now it's even worse for me?

See what I mean.

So questions are:- whats going on? Anybody else notice this? What can i do about it?

The posts time goes by what time zone the Toon who posted it was currently in. So, if one toon was in the Central Time Zone and you were in the United Kingdom, the times would be different and the posts would have different times.

Also, the timing on all of our posts are off. The site's timing system is off (atleast for me) about ten minutes time.

If I'm wrong, correct me.

I'm sure you're pretty close to being right.

Yeah, Ive noticed this for a few months now, it says 12.45am by the post above but it is actually 9.30pm here. I think the timing used to be right.

The post times have been wrong for quite a while now. It was supposed to be fixed in our 3.7.0 update, but it wasn't. So Nick and Batleth are looking into it, so they can fix it. If it really bothers you that much, until it's fixed you can just set your timezone back 3 hours, in your options.

Yes was 3hours behind for me, used the trick of changing actual time to -3 hours, which worked, I corrected it today, cos hand feeling post time were still out but wasnt sure by how much didnt notice properly, thought maybe should be back as GMT.

But now noticed its -21 hours, well the old move time trick wont work trhis time, only allows for -12 hours

Yeah, like I've done before, you can always change your local time in your "Settings" tab in your UserCP. You should change your time 3 hours ahead than it is. (-5:00 would become -8:00) This seems to change the Post Time for me but the original forum time is wrong. (The one that's at the bottom)

This was supposed to be fixed in the recent vB update but I guess it wasn't added or the never got around to it. Also, like said above, the original time is off anyway. It's just a few bugs that need to be fixed.
