IRC chat not working on my computer

I'm not sure what is the problem, but IRC chat will not connect on any computer in my house. When I was at a hotel last week, it worked perfectly, but now it won't.

OK, so I click the button to open the chat. It comes up, and then asks to approve the hosting site, J-something-or-other. I click yes, then it begins to connect. After that, it fails to log in. I forgot the exact thing it says, but it times out and never gets on here. I've tried 3 computers, 2 pcs and a laptop, same thing on all of them. Two have firewall, one I'm not the administrator on. My laptop worked in a hotel with wireless connection, same I got here, and it worked. Got to top 11 in trivia, and I want a scrolling name. My wireless connection does have a code set on it, so it is private, though that shouldn't be the problem.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get it to work, please? Any help would be appreciated.
