Let me tell you something about my opinions...

I think the mods aren't strict enough. We have too many people getting away with things. Take for example the secret swapping board. It CLEARLY says 13+ yet you have 10 year olds trading codes willy nilly. I also have another point. Too many are getting away with censor bypassing and the editing is not strict enough. We must enforce off topicism and double posting much more closer before it gets out of hand. There are also too many that spam around with smileys and it is absolutely PAINFUL to watch those small yellow faces dance around on my screen nearly 100 times. Please mods we must be stricter on such things. I, for one, think that most of the members ought to understand the rules here.
"Moderators and Administrators of these sites monitor your compliance with the rules of the site and dispense disciplinary action at their discretion."
Seriously. I've heard too many complaints of users saying they don't understand what this means because of the long words. It's simple. Mods are here to mod at their will. Even if this is a kid forum, get a dictionary and decipher it. The mods have the right to edit your posts whenever they wish and will provide a reason. If you pm a mod, they will probably be busy so don't try and annoy them to ask them why something was deleted. Also, back to the smiley issue, I think there should be a limit of 2 smileys per post and 10 smileys per day. Too much smiley spam makes the mods tired. I also want you guys to know that multiple account sharing is off limits. It ruins the flow and the mods will get very angry at you.
One more thing before I go, the mods want you to speak english. They're too busy modding and deleting here and there to learn another language.
So, I hope you understand my point users. Mods have final say whether they ban you permanently for no reason or delete your signature for fun.
K, thanks.

See the little triangle with a ! in it on the right side of the post? You can use that to report a post to a mod.

Also the mods can be buisy with rl or takeing care of other posts. So, it may take them a while to get to the post.

As a super-mod, I have a responsibility to read every new post made daily on this forum. Do I manage it? No. I have a real life, and I am only human. Same as the other mods. Things will slip by. This is why we rely so heavily on our members to report things they see as questionable. This is done by pressing the button in the upper right-hand corner of every post. It's a red warning sign with an ! in the middle. Even with more moderators than ever before, we simply can't be everywhere at once.

Things like a 10yo posting codes in Secret Swapping... Because of our strict policies on personal information, even moderators cannot ask the age of a poster. Yes, vBulletin does give users the option of entering a year in their birthdate, but we do not encourage that, and in fact I would encourage everyone to check their user profiles now. If your birth year is there, remove it.

I agree that there should be a smilie limit, but I think it should be more than two and ten. What if someone wants to sign their name with a smilie or somthing at the end of their post like... Idk... 'Little Momo Dizzenroni?' Then they couldn't use any more smilies in their post, and if they posted 10+ times a day they wouldn't be able to do it on every post.

(Just to let you know, I'm pretty sure the name that I put wasn't anyone on TTC's. And if it is, I'm not talking about you. I used the name of my sister's smaller toon.)

In my opinion, it's worse to say your birthday than your age. I don't mind telling people my age, but I don't have my birthday on the TTC calender or anything.

Erm...Just turned my age off (Thanks Zillly)
And I even almost left from strictness, it was more of a personal thing so don't jump all over me when I say, I agree.
But encluding what Zilly said it makes it seem like the entire forum is one big family.

Oh look what bro did! Now we gotta report him to the mom! (A mod )

It seems sorta like that...In a awkward way XD

Depends on what your expectations are. You do need to understand that moderators have lives too. Maybe not much, but they do have one. (Inside Joke) They can't always be there to help fix your problems. Many of them are adults who have families to take care of, and they probbably have TTC at the back of their mind when they're with their family. When you go on a vaction, or play with your pet, are you thinking that a spammer might be posting on TTC? Or do you even have TTC in your mind? I don't. Anyway, we just need to understand that they can't be here every waking moment. They try to be on as best as they can, but life interferes.

I'm sorry but you're not a mod so you cant say what they want and why they do stuff. Thanks for repeating some of the rules, think we read them. Smilies? If you don't like it, don't read it. Last, how bout you let the admin/mods do their own job, I think they know how to do it a little better than you.

and I'm pretty sure thats abusing your powers, which I believe can be taken away and I doubt any mod/admin does that.

Wait a minute, I thought the original reason you had left to go to that site was because they were "too strict"

Hmm.

Seven of Five from Babylon Nine.

The image summed up my feelings about that post.

Miss Cuckoo, there is a reason for a site feedback board. To give feedback.
But that's not my point. I was being sarcastic in the whole thing. I think Toontown dawg got my point there. :P
