The control panel is correctly configured and displays the correct time.

However someone in a thread posted something which shows as last posted at 12:40-something PM, which at the time was 2 hours away. It's 11:20-something am right now for me on the boards.

I believe this is fixed in vBulletin 3.6.9. vBulletin has released that update, but this board has yet to be upgraded.

This error cannot be fixed on the user side as far as I know.

Edit: I just found a way around it.

add -2 (eg: GMT-6 goes to GMT-8) and save changes. Your times should be fixed now.
The time at the bottom of the forum will be wrong though. =/

My clock on the forums is like 6 minutes faster than mine on my desktop.

Hope we get an update soon for vB!

Yeah, like Guru said. Just add -2 to your time settings in Edit Options. It'll fix the post times.

For those of you who used the fix, it will no longer work.
This board has been upgraded to vBulletin 3.6.10 (Yes, .10, released today.)

Having trouble with my times

I am having trouble with the time and the time zones. I am in EST and set it to that, only its way off. Right now, it is 10:24 on my clock. But on here it is shown as 1:32. I like to see the correct post times, but can't because of this. I am not sure if I am doing something obviously wrong, but I'd appreciate some help. Thank you

Everyone is having this problem. I think it has to do with vBulletin.

If it is still appearing, then it is a server time problem.

Edit: You're right...Strange! It doesn't appear on my test or live board...it is something with TTC...

Well, I hope this gets fixed sooner rather than later. Not being able to see the correct time is kind of annoying...oh well.

It's a bug that's been around since I first joined this site. The first few times it'd end up resetting itself. Though this time I think vB3.7 is the update that's going to fix it for us.
