Do you think we need another mod?

I do, in my opinion. Like, when someone cusses or does something really bad, or starts a fight etc, theres never a mod on at that exact time. I think we need another for most of the popular forums, cause batleth, silly princess, and a few others are the only ones that are stopping those spamming moments and when there not on, theres no one to stop it.

I really dont want to become a mod(like i ever would:xmas16: )

but I think we should elect someone from the forum as one

I don't think we need another mod that badly, but if we ever do get another mod, I don't want to be one.

i dont really think we need other ones i think we have great mods and we have enough mods i think also if they said there wuld pick someone to be a mod everyone will be fighting over it theyll be like OOOOH I WANT TO BE A MOD and one person gets picked and ppl get mad

Most Mods hardly ever come on here anymore. Maybe just 1 more... But DBB is right, people might fight over it.

You folks have no clue which mods log in how often. Many of us are on in invisible mode most of the time. I can guarantee that during most weekdays there are 5 or 6 of us logged on at various times throughout the day.

At night another crew generally takes over.

Other than the middle of the night there are very few times when no mod is around if something needs to be addressed immediately you can report the post or start PM mods/admin.

Good idea... maybe you should make a poll and put some of the most popular people on it and see which person people want to become a mod? (Include me on the poll wouldja? lol jk)

OH... Invisible Mode? Never knew about that.

But, I still think we should get 1 more. Well, if there weren't the possibility that people would fight over it... But until we can prevent that, I don't really think we should get 1 more. I know, the Mods/Admins can do that... But we have about 25,000 members or something. (But, 1/4 of them never post AT ALL.)

I think I know which ones log in invisible their about 5 or 6 that do. Which means they are anonymous members

The others are active staying for at least a half hour and on up to 4-5 times aday.


Lets just say the ones who do fight will not be selected

That could start a flame war, people would say: "Hey, why aren't I on the list?! I'm helpful!!! I should be a mod! Put me on the list!" then people would argue, replying: "No, you aren't helpful! That's why you aren't on the list!" ect.

And Rattlebones is right, there are enough mods, 70% of them are in invisible mode. ;)

I don’t believe we need anymore mods. The mods have done a good job keeping the peace. If flame wars start you need to appeal that thread/person. Mods are human too lol. Can’t expect them to be everywhere and they don’t even get paid lol.

Anyway, last time we did get a Mod the person lasted 20 min because some Mods didn't like it so you need to have each of them agree on that person being selected.

I agree that we need more mods, and I knew tht many mods are in invisible mode just not how many are online at once, but IMHO, 5 or 6 mods online at once isn't always enough, remember we have about 20 times as many regular users online, and there's such frequent posting, I really doubt a mod can keep up with that, I also think we need another mod because the mods we have now work so hard, another mod would make it so much easier for them! I think two would really help in this case, IMHO this isn't a matter of keeping things under control only, it's a matter of keeping things under control for a long period of time, and the thread -rcv- made in the CCG forum states that mods are often overworked and ready to give up, which is exactly why another mod would really help!
