I think that you are a Little too harsh with rulebreakers especially during the holidays. I mean ive heard and seen 2-week suspensions for the first violation in that rule which is ridiculous!

Well, its kindof a penalty thing for beraking rules basicly, although it would be nice to tone it down on the holidays
P.S. i actually was suspended on my birthday 0.o
I also think that mods do it to scare people so they won't break anymore rules.

Aye, I agree with what Bubbles said. People could always make up something around the many holidays we have in a year. Also, if word got out that a mod had been lenient with a member because of birthdays/holidays/whatever, people would want the same courtesy given to them, and that would be mayhem. It wouldn't be fair to the members, that much is, I should think, clear among users. But it wouldn't be fair to the mods either, would it? Putting them on the spot (particularly in threads such as these) is unfair to them, as would what you were suggesting. Just my 2c. =/

True, very true. The mods are just doing their job. Don't expect them to ignore it when rules are broken.

lol.. I wrote that when I just got out of suspension on the site because it was in winter close to Christmas I was pretty upset lol.. Please ignore this thread and im sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks bubbles for clearing that up for us.
