Missing threads

Has anyone noticed threads missing lately? I replied to a thread last night and today it is gone, along with any reference in my history of the post. I also noticed this happening last weekend to a thread that I read (but did not post to) that was under the Test Town Territory.

Either one of these treads did not seem particularly offensive, but of somebody letting off steam regarding toon behaviour. If a mod can answer this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Some threads are removed for Advertising, Harrasement, Flaming. If you replied to any offensive threads then that may be your answer.

Yes I noticed that too - many posts , threads dissapear or being mixed in order. I don't like it eather. I think eachtime mod deleets or replaces the thread he/she should comment the reason of doing that.

Like I said, neither one seemed particularly offensive, and believe me, I've seen alot worse on this site that stays posted.

If we delete/ban a thread you can't see it and can't see the comments so what would be the point of providing a lengthy discussion.

Threads are banned/deleted if they break the rules. If your thread disappears you can assume something in it caused it to break the rules. If it was YOU breaking the rules, you'll likely get a PM.

As far as other stuff staying while a particular thread goes away... our mods are given guidelines to follow. They do so to the best of their abilities. Sometimes mods see things differently and sometimes mods miss something... being human and all.

If your not a member of the Rants forum, then you wouldn't see it either. Just giving another options to Rattlebone's list of reason since it sounds like the one described above might have been moved there. You can join by going to your userCP and clicking on group memberships.
