Filters for Forums

Is there any way to filter out certain forum when I do a "New Post" search? I love that there are places that kids can talk about Neopets and Maple Story and work on their creative stories, but it really hard for me to find the TT stuff sometimes. Seem that everytime I log into TTC there are 50-100 new post threads and only about 25% are actually about TT directly (HQ, Test, Fishing, Groups, Events, etc).

Now I know I can just not read them, or go just to the forums I am interesed in and read those, but it would be SOOOOOO much easier if I could filter the search to take out specific forums.

Good idea.

It would be do-able on my end, by setting up a Public Group for each forum, then blocking the forum from non-members

That would be horribly confusing, since everyone would need to join the group for each forum they wanted to read.

Hmmm, I might set that up for the non-TT stuff, though. I was about halfway into setting up the International forums like that.

There may be something like what you want in the new version of vBulletin, which we will be using when the final version is released.

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. I was away from TTC for 5 hours, 126 new posts!!! and a ton of them are Maple Story and whatnot I don't want to makes things horribly confusing - that won't help any, but anything that can be done to help out would be very welcome.

Why don't you try contributing something useful to this site instead of trying to see what rules you can bypass and then complain about! You have stated before that you don't like Toontown - so why are you here? Maple Story, VMK, Neopets or just to be a pain to everyone?
