less room for private messages?

how do we make more room for our message archive? i deleted messages and rewrote a message to my friend, and still got this following error:

The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:

1. You have reached your stored private message quota and can not send any further messages until space has been created.

what is the new limit now and would someone please post it on the home page or have a page listing all new possible problems we might encounter on this new site? it would be nice to know what we're up against here.

You are only able to store 20 total (sent and inbox). If you have some you don't want to delete you can save them to your puter. Good luck!

Thank you, Bellyrina for the response! I've been deleting like crazy and still getting the same error. Didn't know the new limit is 20. btw, where did you find this info? I'd like to know where to look on this site for technical problems like this one. Thanks!

You should see a bar when you are in your PMs that shows how full (or overfull) your mailbox is.

Nearer the bottom, there are links to save selected messages to your 'puter, in different formats. If you want to keep stuff, it's easiest to save them that way, then delete everything from your PM folders.

I don't know this for sure but if you are still getting the error it may be a browser problem.
If YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND this please don't try any of it.
1. Try logging out and restarting your computer. Did it work now?
2. If you run 2 different browser programs, like I.E. or Netscape then try the other browser. If the problem still exists then it's probably not browser related.
3. If the browser switching shows you the problem has gone away then you know you have a browser problem.
4. Get your browser updates from the manufacture! They are free!
5. If you don't know what I'm talking about next DON'T DO IT!

... emptying your browser cache/dumping your history and offline browser files... DO NOT DELETE COOKIES. You will have to reload your account to play Toontown if you delete cookies. If you know what I mean then this could help if it's not a script related problem.
5. Restart browser and check it out. You have to exit and restart your browser to make it work right. If YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND this please don't try any of it.

If you are still lost and your computer has other problems... lockups... etc... you should take it to a certified technician. Run a good anti virus program regularly too. Nothing here is certified information. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents. 2c
