question about Email

are we alowed to post our email address?

There is a field in your UserCP > Options that you can check that says, "Receive Email from Other Members." By checking this option, it allows people to send you email through our forum. Posting email addresses in posts or anywhere on your profile where people can see the email address is not allowed. From our policies:

Personal Information
This site has children present therefore asking for or volunteering personal information is not allowed. Personal Info consists of Real Life Names, Age, Gender, Location, Email Address exchanges, Instant messenger ID's, Password/Account Information, School Information and other similar details. This also applies to posting personal pictures of the users, their schools, homes (that include their exact locations), etc.
This applies to all forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures. We here at Toontowncentral.com and VMKForums.com strive to keep the environment as safe as possible for our users.

Then why does TTC allow IM IDs in profiles?

It's because she's an Admin.

Admin/mod names are color coded.

Email address is required for the forum but it is not required to be shown. I would encourage you not to enter your IM IDs. If an IM ID has a full name listed, it will be removed for you.

Most of the usernames you will see will be Dark Blue, which is a normal user. The other username colors you will see are shown here. Any username that is pink or red signifies a mod or admin.
