how do you get a custom avatar

You can make one yourself using an editing program or use a shop in the Arts & Creativity Forum. I recommend Major shops like Biscuits USA shop, Lady Kookybee's Graphic Shop, or Badgerdog's Animation and Editing shop. Please mind their rules though too.

If you want somebody to show you you can look at the guides in the Arts & Creativity forum. Biscuit has alot of good guides so look at his.
